Who should play Dwight before his Facial surgery?

Clive Owen with prosthetics?

or some one else?

Thinking about this only makes me want to see the movie more :(

If Mickey Rourke can go under heavy makeup to become Marv, Clive Owen can do the same.

i LIKE Clive Owen.. BUT NOBODY is MICKEY ROURKE! :word:

VOTE FOR JARED LETO! (4 pre-op Dwight!!!)
may as well even things for the female audience members too..
we love EYE-KANDY too !!!

Doubt they'll replace Clive in the role. The only real difference is DeWight is bald pre-surgery. Something that can be easily done and modified as they see fit.

he 's QUITE capable..
i just like the idea of Leto..
let's just FIND him a part! :cwink:

PERFECT casting..
same as Sin City .. Mary Vernieu

ABSOLUTELY!
i sure don't know them ALL (casting directors..by name)
but HER work .. consistant and EXCEPTIONAL!
MAJOR UPS! ;)

If only he were younger, Bruce Willis would make an excellent pre-op Dwight. And then, of course, he's already cast as Hartigan, so that obviously couldn't work on two counts.

Clearly it HAS to be Clive Owen in a bald cap (or he could shave his head, up to him) and with a few facial changes... maybe add just a little more chin and cheek bones, with something on the nose. Just enough to make it look as though he could have gone in surgery to then have some shaved of his face and bone structure changed.

Although, yeah. This is what's likely to happen.

Looks like you confused 'likely' and 'should'. :oldrazz:

I think it'd be cool to see someone totally different in the role at the beginning, that way only the readers would know what was going on when we hear this totally new bald guy being referred to as "Dwight", when he'd already been established with Clive Owen's face in the first Sin City.

Just having a little tee hee hee to the readers of the actual comic but wasting a chance to see Owen play the same character in a completely different way, is a waste.

Like if they really wanted a little nod to the readers, in the first one, Rosario would have her S&M mask on in HGB... and not reveal it until the reveal of ADTKF. Even if people would make the connection to the same character already.

I'm not against reader nods, but not one like that to just have one.

I don't think it's necessarily a "tee hee hee" to the fans, but it's a nod for sure. And it's also a revelation for the rest of the viewers. They'll say "ohhhh, it's him!" True, you can cover up someone with enough cosmetics to make them look completely different, but you'll never achieve the same effect as actually using another person.

I will say, though, it's definitely a good opportunity for Clive Owen to show us his stuff and just how diverse his acting ability really is. That, I would be looking forward to.
