I think Dragon Ball is going to make a hell of a lot of money, so it won't be a flop on a business note, but Since Fox is making it, i believe it will get horrible reviews and will be an overall crappy film...though i predict i will make over 300 million...that is if they make the trailers better looking than the film itself and brainwash people into seeing it.. :o

WHAT?! Man, have you seen the pics? Dragonball will be lucky if it doesn't end up straight to dvd...it's in Dead or Alive land, man.

Im tired of will smith and his crappy movies and no it looks stupid.

I agree on the Will Smith part, but I think Hancock actually looks ok...it would be better if it was just him, drunk, messing stuff up the entire time. The only part of it I dont like is that when Iron Man 2 does Demon in a Bottle, this movie will have stolen it's thunder.

Here's my take on Hancock. It looks like it's just Will Smith yellping out one-liners left and right, and early reviews support this. I guess if you're twelve or something it would be great...or if you loved him in Independence Day or Men In Black or Wild Wild West. I prefer it when he's actually acting, though.

If you can get past the fact that it feels like two movies in one(First Half: Smart, Slick Comedy; Second Half: Teary Eyed Drama), it will turn out to be a nice little treat, if not, you obviously won't like it. This film ain't going to be great, I can guarentee that. On 'Rotten Tomatoes', it will get an average 40-60% critical response, I recommend you find a critic tha you can agree with and you stick with him/her as it's going to be hard to figure out whether you'll actually like the film not.

hehe, perhaps you're right...but if the crappy Alvin and the chipmunks can make over 200 million in the U.S i'm sure the soon to be crap Dragonball film will make just that....unless is does go straight to DVD.. :o :woot:

I agree, people aren't that stupid... the only people I define as "stupid" are the ones who see those crap-ass ________ Movies, Meet The Spartans, The Comebacks, and now, coming soon, Disaster Movie, perfect title by th way, kudos for that one:up:

I am tired of Adam Sandler and his crappy movies that have the exact same, lame people in each and everyone. He has been on a steady decline.

As for Wil Smith, he was good in I Am Legend but his summer movies usually lack a huge level of interest from me. I loved MIB (I, not II) and Hancock looks to be interesting but we will see. It won't flop though.

Completely agree. Well said. QFT, etc...

Mike Myers is right there with Sandler for Love Guru-he's still making midget jokes for godsakes. We get it-Verne Troyer is small, alright, enough...

Unlike Sandler, Myers hasnt even tried to branch out. At least Sandler did some stuff like Reign Over Me. This Zohan crap looks to be him sort of placating those who keep screaming stuff like "he's not funny anymore, wtf!?!?!"

I hate all of these stupid-ass, Mike Myers crap-movies. I've had enough of all of these repetitive movies where the actors in them can never, ever change their character, it's like it's too hard for them. That's why people are so sick and tired of these films because they've seen 'em before.

I picked the Hulk...even though I don't want it to fail...I just have a feeling it will. Just because it feels oddly placed in the middle of another jam packed summer with so many other big films coming out...its too many superheroes in one season...the curse of releasing two Marvel hero movies in the same summer will not be broken...it will continue and the budding studio will learn a valuable lesson if it does flop. And that would be to not place them so close together...and especially don't try to cheat the average going movie public by disregarding the last Hulk movie...this isn't Batman Begins...you don't just start over after one so-so attempt...we'll see what happens though...

I predict that it will make an average $50M more or less compared to 'Hulk', either one is acceptable as 'Hulk' made $150M.

How is starting over "cheating" the audience? Especially as the general public was incredibly dissapointed with the first Hulk movie. Since when is giving people what they want considered "cheating" them?

My favorite Sandler role is Punch-Drunk Love. He's perfect in it.

+1, agree with this completely.

Yea Love Guru looks like a character from an Austin Powers movie to me and I think it will loose to Get Smart with a smarter cast and more than likely smarter writing. But Myers' line of characters are far more memorable than Sandler's recent crap and Zohan sucked horribly. Sandler has turned into a kid movie machine and the writing sucked. Nick Swarsdon was the only funny part of that movie.

What was wrong with MIB:huh: Wild Wild West was bad all around and Independance Day was alright at the time. Smith has found his niche in big action summer movies with one liners and a lot of explosions. Smith isn't a horrible actor and I will give Hancock a chance but it deffinitely will not flop.
