The Dark Knight Predictions on how TDK will end

The third one is where you can go Cameo crazy and bring out allt he freaks and two-face is rallying them together. Then have random Joker assassination attempts against him.

I wouldnt mind seeing something like that in a Batman movie.

It's hard to say how this movie will end. Nolan is known for his huge plot twists.

i want an ending in which joker falls in a vat of chemicals and batman thinks hes dead, then at like the end of the credits we see a hand pop out of the chemicals.

Maybe not the hand thing, sounds to much like B89. But him falling into a vat at the end would be good because it would seem like the character become complete by the end. This way both people who favored the makeup Joker and the bleached Joker would both be happy.

Not me. First of all, how could he get bleached the exact same colours he's already wearing? And second, he's already the Joker, so bleaching him would just be pointless, IMO.

As far as main villains go I wouldnt mind seeing one created for the movie, I mean why not. Is there some sort of rule that you can only use comic characters ?

also, If they have to recast Joker for the third, I can see the main actor from Dexter pulling it off. He has alot of face lines and prominent features similar to heath and can play offbeat characters as well (though my first choice is Depp, he would overshadow everyone else), I also think Jude law could maybe do it. IMO it would be nice to see the role retired for Heath, especially if his portrayal is as good as it seems. However the Joker is a main character, every it as important as the Batman he also seems to be completely crazy with multiple voices and personality traits...so I see no reason why the role cant be continued if and as intended.

I actually like the idea of the chemical vat at the end. Instead of bleaching him, maybe whatever chemical it is sort of melts the colors into his skin and hair. Not sure how, but make him not completely white like the comics and such, but kinda faded and messy like he is, just permenantely.

ew the melting make up to his face theory. Not one of my favorites. Sure why not.

didnt nolan said once that the ending will be quite similar to BB? introducing a new criminal or at least known character?....two face is in pole position and meets.............who?

First time I have heard of that. Got a quote?
wow...will take me a lot of time to find this one again ...now i dont know if it was mentioned or if it was said by nolan himself in an interview....but i've red that for sure

The only thing I have heard remotely close to something like that was a rumor about dinner with Selina Kyle. Everything I have read has not said anything about how this would end.

now this is new to me....:-) a dinner with selina...ok...the only thing i remember was that it will end close to BB, like an open end.....going to the next step in batmans story...

If they really wanna pull a huge shocker, instead of it being a throwaway mention by Alfred, actually have Selina show up in front of Bruce and introduce herself.

Now imagine that, a well-kept production secret revealing one of the most popular rogues in Batman's history. I'd literally feel my heart melt if that happened, especially if Selina was drop-dead gorgeous.

I'm not sure exactly where this is, but Nolan stated somewhere that he was interested in ending TDK in a way similar to BB, in which it excited audiences about the possibility for the next chapter.

Now perhaps all that he intends is for Two-Face to emerge at the end of TDK, which would be a great twist for people who aren't familiar with Dent's tragic storyline. But there were two other rumors: one was that Bruce would get a call from Selina Kyle looking for a date (or something like that), and the other was getting a card with a "?" printed on it (implying the Riddler.)

Personally, I see no problem with introducing Selina Kyle. Many fans don't like Catwoman as a villain, but she's not really exclusively a villain - she's more of an ambiguous character who is on her OWN side, sometimes siding with Bruce and sometimes siding with the freaks. I think that could be an interesting dynamic, and it would create a buzz for the next film in regards to what actress could fill the role. If Nolan wasn't afraid to re-imagine the Joker, he certainly won't be afraid to re-imagine Catwoman.

Not if it is Katie Holmes that is playing Selina

i like the catwoman idea, but i hate the idea of doing another joker-card type ending w/a ? or something... its a good trick and neat twist but i dont want them overdoing... i love catwoman and want her in the next movie admitedly... even after the halle berry fiasco

The thing is people are assuming the Joker had a role in the third one. Nothing but from rumor. And BB3 is pretty much in early development of script writing, apparnetly J. Nolan has been working on it.

And rumor has it already that the BB3 script under went changes, and I'm betting that is what will happen. Two-Face is a huge villain and can hold up a movie solo.

I had not heard that they'd already begun writing the next film. That is good news. If anyone has a link to that info, I'm sure many readers would appreciate it.

Yeah, I don't see how you do much more than reference Joker in the next film. I think you DO reference him, since he just got done trashing the town and so on, but it's Two-Face's film. Also, I think you bring in another villain, the same way Two-Face is 'brought in' by TDK, which is Joker's film. Nolan does like to layer his stories. That's what makes them more interesting and watchable than the average comic book flick. He's a tough act to follow.

I don't know how they could avoid bringing in Catwoman in the next film. I regard her as kind of inevitable, and I think of the remaining characters, she would have the most appeal to Nolan in terms of 'fitting her in' to his vision. In TDK, Joker and Dent move the plot along. In the next film, it has to be Dent and someone else. Who? Riddler? Penguin? Whoever it is, (s)he has to fit into a Dent-dominated plot. I just see Catwoman doing that best.
