Looks fairly close to the Tales of Asgard series that ran in the early 00s in style; Thor's childhood, presumably the growth of Loki's enmity with him, etc.

I guess Marvel must have received faulty marketing info that states they need to broaden their appeal to kids. Kiddy Avengers, teenage Thor and teeny Iron Man just doesn't interest me at all. The sad thing is that I fell in love with these characters when I was a kid and they weren't kiddie versions. Sell the real, adult versions we all love and the kids will follow. Kids do NOT want to be talked down to.

(That teenage Iron Man looks worse that baby Thor, however.)

I'm not fullly impressed. If they used the same studio that did that Siegfried promo last year I'd be sold.

Yes, this does look terrible. You'd think Marvel would have learned with that teen movie where they went up against Ultron. I didn't even buy it becuase of that stupid premise. Looks like i'll be doing the same with this one.

Marvel really needs to stop screwing around with their DTVs. Thus far, they've done six, and only Hulk Vs. could be classified as great, IMO. And maybe the first Ultimate Avengers. What they need to do is stop making kiddie crap and adapt stuff that teen-adult fans would like to see (like Hulk Vs.) and that kids would enjoy too. I'm sure kids would ****in' love Marvel Zombies.

What did you think of Dr.Strange? I thought it was actually one of there best efforts.

Decent. I think I'd probably like it better if it was a pilot for a series than a standalone movie.

Its like Marvel is holding dude back for whatever reason. Thor's got that upcoming animated series, and it looks to be kind of faithful like the Wolverine series and not a complete bastardization like that Iron Man series.

And I'm sure we'll get a Cap DTV in the coming years. We've had IM & Hulk movies, and we got IM and Hulk DTVs. We're getting a Thor movie, so we're getting a Thor DTV. We're getting a Cap movie in 2011, so...

I think they should make a Captain America DTV film. Bring in Red SKull, and even Bucky, etc.

As for Tals of Asgard, it looks pretty cool, IMO. I'll be picking it up in the fall.

Adult Thor will be in the Avengers animated series in 2011. Don't forget about that.

TheVileOne, Don't forget...Thor will get his first animated series since...The Marvel Superheroes in 2010. Thor will be an adult in that one as well.

Captain America should get his own series in 2011, after his solo film and then The Avengers.

Eh whatever. I think some of these are pretty good.

Hulk VS. was fun. Next Avengers was a lot of fun as well.

Also I generally hated GOTHAM KNIGHT. Superman/Doomsday was a big disappointment.

Hulk VS. Wolverine at least finally gave us the closest we will ever see to an animated battle for Hulk and Wolverine closer to the comics. The fight in Wolverine and The X-men won't nearly be as brutal since it's more of a kids oriented show. Also the first ever motion picture version of Deadpool.

An animated Deadpool movie would rock.
