Preview of "Thor: Tales of Asgard" Animated Movie

I hate to repeat myself, but here's my big complaint with Thor and all the Asgardians as portrayed in all Marvel animation: WHY THE HELL DO THEY HAVE BRITISH ACCENTS?!?!

Shouldn't the Norse god of Thunder, and the Norse pantheon of gods, have NORDIC accents? Why do they always sound like characters out of Monty Python & the Holy Grail?

Do the casting directors not see the word "Norse" in the character bios? Do they not understand the difference between a Norseman and an Englishman? Do they think Thor is the British god of Thunder?

Because sounding British is more "dramatic" and gives the movie more "credibility" in the eyes of critics.:hehe:

I'm a big thor fan, is it too much trouble to see thor kick some arse as an adult, with the hammer we know and love and costume we know and love?

I've had to endure

a) thor (in his proper costume) get his arse handed to him by the hulk (hulk v)
b) thor in his ultimate outfit and axe (UA1/2)
and now thor as a teen, for pete sake do the guy justice or leave him alone.

Umm coz Marvel Asgardians originally speak Shakespearean English?
