I believe he says Jazz is a "hardtop" solstice (convertible) which is really a completely different looking car with the top on. Of course i would have to think that would make for some odd moments in the transformation as the hardtop is removable. It doesnt stow away like the ragtop.

I am a little suspicious of them making him the hardtop as I believe 2007 is the first year the hardtop will be available. Could be wrong. They may again be playing the advertising monkeys here.

I may just be making too much of the statement about him being a hardtop. That could indeed be what model he is and he just wont have the top for most of the movie. But if he does have the top he is completely different. Much more of a sports wagon look.

I agree Jazz could have easily been the camaro and Bumbles the solstice but who knows what kind of restrictions and suggestions they're forced to work around by the car companies.

Anybody got any casting ideas for Jazz? Maybe I should resurrect the casting thread.

Both sweet. And both hot-rods....
not like the 4-cyl chic car they made him (A freakin Solstice??? wtf? man, if they put a huge Boing 747 spoiler wing on the back of that thing in the movie I'm just gonna upchuck in the theater in laughter).

I would have liked Jazz to be a Porsche although if they have to wreck a few that is expensive on a support character but i think the other car is fine
