Ok. So i had an idea. I rolled the poster up to just smaller that the speaker put it against the speaker then played the clip and listened through the poster. It sounds just like Prime!!!! That cheap and ridiculous but effective none the less!!!

He should!RampageGS said:Semanitcs, That infers that he would as optimus prime. they wouldn't have had him read them so dramaticly if it was suppose to be "Peter Cullen" reading the lines. Do you think he sounds like that when he orders his coffee with "a little suger, and a lot of cream".
Wow...they should have gone with Gary Chalk.
I mean come on Cullen, if you can say 'Believe it!' in a Naruto promo (which, for the record, I am a supporter of 'Believe it!') then you can at least put some friggin' energy into these things. I'm only scolding you because...well, you do some promos for Toonami, and you're my senpai of sorts.
To be honest, Cullen did less then what, 100 episodes as Prime, right? Chalk's done far more, I think he deserved the role more, if anything, but then again, my opinion does not matter here, does it?
EDIT: It's like Spider-Man, of sorts. With Great Voice Comes Great Responsibility!
EDIT 2: Fixed spelling error in my last edit.
azbats said:Cullen sounds OK. He sounds like Prime. This is what everybody wanted. I am sure they'll use some effects with his voice. It's the terrible lines that I worry about. I hope to God that "It's Prime Time!" isn't in the movie.

Everyone wanted Cullen, now after hearing Cullen do a couple of lines, they all get mad about him doing Prime now.
Make up your f'n minds!

He sounds awesome even today. I think people are just griping that those new recordings (like the slapped on voiceover at the end of the trailer) just sound.... um.... wack. HE himself doesn't sound bad. Just no effort was put into making them sound "professional."

That was the best.
