This movie looks really weird. It's in Africa, and said that they're chasing a serial killer. Yet they don't reveal whether the killers human, a Monster or a Lion,Crocodile or Hippo.....

It's based on a book.

The killer's a giant crocodile.

Im looking forward to it.

[spoilers]It's a Crocodile.[/spoiler]

Thanks for ruining it, *******!

^. LOL! I feel ya! I think the point of the trailers was not to let people actualy know what the killer was yet.

Anyhow, i hope it's better than that suckfest 'Lake Placid'.

That was a triple post.

I think it's just the Hype trying to tell me to tell you to go away.

Cute. I already knew anyway :-P

I just feel somewhat bad for the film itself. A decade ago a marketing campaign like this would have done wonders for the film, yet now you can't even mention the title without throwing "crocodile" in the same sentance. It's not even treated like a spoiler, which is quite unfortunate. Wish I could have had a nice mysterious monster movie to go into, not actually knowing what I'd see. Of course, then I'd just be pissed when it wasn't a dinosaur.

I saw the trailer with Black Chrsitmas and was wondering what it was. It got bumped up like thre months before its orginal release date. I think they must feel it might not do well.

Pretty much every new movie released in Jan...is wait for cable movies... if that

Before I spoiled myself on Wiki, the movie did look interesting and like it was an actual human.

Oh well. I wouldn't have wasted my money anyway.
Btw, the giant croc as the plot twist would be cool.

I did the same thing. the whole 'based on a true story/serial killer still at large' bit got me curious as to why I had never heard of Gustave so I thought I'd check out Wikipedia's entry.

here's the BBC article on the real Gustave -

I'm gonna go watch Lake Placid.

What the hell?

I though there was supposed to be mass graves or something?

Crocs don't dig graves, infact, I thought they ate bones too.

1. I already made a thread about this. :csad:

2. It's stupid to market it as a serial killer movie. This is the first time I've read good buzz about this marketing. They(studio) should market it what it is. A killer croc movie that is actually based on true events.

I looked this movie up, because it said the killer a croc:D

Watched this a few days ago online and it was god awful

I need to buy this for my bro...once I cna get the money. Then take him to see Rogue (another croc flick) whenever Dimension pulls their head from their ass and releases it in theaters.
