Well in terms of the color of the plastic ANYTHING is better then the Green Microsoft is using. It's not a terible change, I just don't see the need for it since imo having the PS designation thing being horizontal works better.

Although the "Playastation" for the PS3 case is more eye catching then the pure white PS2 style.

i actually like the logo at the side because with the blue ray strip at the top it maintains the natural aspect ratio for the front picture. while allowing a smaller box that doesn't use up asmuch unnesersary space. it's easily distictive as a PS3 game from both the front and side. it'll be easy to find blue-ray films or games amougst your dvd collection. i know i always used to end up with a stack of resently played discs before i put them away.

The cases to both HD-DVD and Blue-Ray discs are smaller than the standard size for DVDs.

I personally love the smaller-sized cases. Somehow it makes it feel more...I don't know...."futuristic" or something? I can't really explain it.

I personally quite like the new cases. I don't see much wrong, and in all fairness, they're just cases. Once stacked you're only going to see them from a side view.
