I'm sure everyone saw who he was in the final battle.There were cameras everywhere. They probably just said he came to Spidey's rescue using technology from Oscorp. He died a hero.

There was no way to hide this one, eveyrone saw his ass fly into action there.

MJ being in danger could explain why he came as he is friends with her too. And it would also explain why the Stacys were at his funeral.

There is one hitch. Everyone would see the pumpkin bombs and the glider and go "Gee, he looks an awful lot like that Green Goblin fellow who killed and terrorized people who worked for Oscorp and MJ 3 years ago..." and either think Harry was the original GG, which I imagine went as an unsolved case or figure out that his father died the same night GG was last seen and the cat would be out of the bag on Norman Osborn.

Actually that came out in the comics with Ben Ulrich putting things together post-Norman/Gwen (before they stupidly brought norman back) and wrote that big expose on the Osborn family. But I mean if Harry is a hero, any journalist who would want to investigate the NYC martyr would come to realize, I think that Norman Osborn could have been the Green Goblin fairly easily.

I doubt Spiderman swung off his Harry's body to go lay him in bed lie he did Norman, so the public probably knows his identity. I think its stupid though that they are aware MJ was kidnapped by all three villains. After SM2, why go file a report, I'd just go home and kick it. If I knew that MJ was kidnapped each time there was a supervillain in town I'd say "oh you know what I think, Spiderman is probably her bf".
