What have you bought recently?

Yesterday, I stayed over at my brothers, in Dallas, and we traipsed around via the train systems the entire day, in celebration of him getting one year nearer to being forty. We stopped off at a couple of comic shops, where I picked up -

- Detective Comics #457

- Batman: The Dark Knight Returns #1

- Batman Confidential #10

- Batman Confidential #12

Teen Titans (they lost me after the big Tomorrow Titans thing, but I'm considering going back)
Batman Confidential (I'm on this until the Wrath arc is done, at least)
JLA - once these crossover/tie-ins are done, I'll start picking it up again
Green Lantern - just on the fence with this one, like it but not sure if I want to own it
Action Comics - normally dislike Superman, but that Legion story was BRILLIANT
Nightwing - I am reaallly starting to like where it's going

Future:
Final Crisis (both grant's and geoff's), might check out these new Batman minis (death mask and midnight), I'll check out some of Titans and Justice League, Trinity, aaand that war over hell seems cool.

I like a bit of Robin every now and again. It hooked me with that cover a while ago, with the bloodied watch for Bruce, I thought they'd actually killed him, picked it up and fairly enjoyed it.

Been thinking about getting a bit of Green Arrow as well. Can anyone reccomend any TPB's for him?

I've been looking around for TLH recently but it seems nowhere in the UK has it, i saw it at a Heroes Convention i went to but they were raping people of £22 for it just because it was done by Tim Sale (does artwork on the show of Heroes)! anyone in the UK know where i can get it from, online preferably...

Um, Amazon is a good try, or eBay, I was lucky and found it in my local comic shop at trade price.

If you're in Wiltshire I suggest taking a trip to Winchester in Hampshire, they have a really good comic book store. Forbidden Kingdom I think.

Try Forbidden Planet International. I ordered mine there two weeks ago ( still waiting). Also you might find Forbidden Planet near you. It's a good shop.

What part of Wiltshire are you in? I personally have vested interests in the Tidworth area, right on the Hampshire border.

But if you're going to try Brizzle, I think there may be a store in Bath as well. Or if you're willing for a real day trip, there is definitely one in Cardiff.
