I only concentrate on what will benefit me financialy and as a overall person... rock knowledge isnt on the top of that list. I know what I like and that's it

I was hit, by a drunk truck driver who was employeed for a huge corporation, he was driving with a "revoked" CDL, from a prior drunk driving conviction, he's work was well aware of his felony and his expired CDL, but they still allowed him to work and drive for them..... it's a pretty cut and dry case my friend, they have already tried to settle out of court by offering us over 10.....

to mention something a few pages back, Iommi is a great guitarist who cam eup with some amazing rifts! Some of my fav rifts of all time. BUT Page's ability is superior, as is duane allman, hendrix, richard thompson, gallagher and some more. But yes, he is still great.

Alright, he wanted to push my buttons, so let's review:

He started with this asinine statement:

Tony Iommi... enough said... there isn;t one riff that he didn't already play... if you play the electric guitar... you are basically copying from this guy because he's done it all....

if it wasn't for him, there would be no pink floyd, there would be no led zepplin, there wold be no metallica... there would be nothing....

Then he insulted actual musicians who know what they're talking about when he got debunked and called on it:

why don't you ask actuall gurarists on that.... I saw a doc on black sabbath, they had judas priest, rob zombie, metallica, slipknot, led zepplin, van hallen, anyone you can think of, saying that tony is the godfather,... if it wasn't for him there would be nothing....

After getting mauled some more by people who know what they're talking about, he then conceded defeat but not without insulting anyone who might have knowledge who isn't actually a musician themselves:

This bolded part above also implies that he is a guitarist playing in an active band, since he's apparently free to state what he believes is useless trivia knowledge on the topic.

Then he insulted someone's college job and pretended he was an expert on the demand for psychologists:

psychology huh??? not much of a demand for psychologist today... being the smart man you are, you should have realized that and actually went the hole 9 yards and became a psychatrist.... but again I won't go there...

He was subsequently proven wrong.


Then he said that idolizing an actor was okay, but people who idolized musicians were basically pathetic and had no life:

if you read what I wrote, if you play, idolize away.. if it wasn't for them idolizing and learning from them, we wouldn't have anything today.... but for some guy, who doesn't, to sit on his computer studying some musicain because he has no life is sad... I find people who idolize celebrities sad... unless ofcourse they are an actor...

it's called having a life... led zepplin didn't get where they are by arguing on a superhero internet forum....

Then he waxed poetic about how he's sooooo busy and doesn't have time for useless knowledge (even though he had just tried to convince everyone that he had the lock on Tommy Iommi's status in the music world just a few posts earlier and apparently has a lot of time to post on this message board:

imo, if your interests are not going to forward yourself as a person and a proffesional, why bother.... right now I'm a engineer desginer, so I study, and read up on alot of art, archutecture, etc... becuase I'm proffesionaly interested in that... plus, entering my 2nd year of law school right now, I don't have time to indulge myself with useless knowledge... i dould care less about who played this, or who is the greast whatever, it's not going to help me out in the long run, unless of course VH1 brings back rock and roll jepordy....

Then he showed us that he works 60+ hours a week, goes to school full time, apparently plays guitar in a band since he's qualified to make the statements he did when non-musicians really aren't, and from his previous posts in other threads I know he also likes to restore old cars in his spare time, so when does the poor boy sleep?:
