Pyramid Of Guitarists

You pride yourself on being a classic Metalhead yet you don't recognize a pic of KERRY F**KING KING?!? Slayer?!?

i like slayer, I like Iron Madden, I like Judas Priest, hell, i even like Queen, but they aren't on the top of my list, because my list changes everyday.... it's whatever i got going in my Ipod... right now I'm in rehab, and those are the bands I listen to that get me through the pain when I'm doing my exercises.... sue me

Did you see Tom Waits Cameo in mystery men? ****ing hillarious man, and is it just me or is he the spit of ron perlman?
Yeah, he gets around, does the Waits.

I was wrong, okay, get over yourself... **** sake, you make fun of what I said, but minus the ones of you that are in bands, you sure have alot of useless trivia knowledge, kind of sad actually, idolizing people you will never meet, its nothing more then sounds, and words.......I'd like to know what you do for a living, probably a blockbuster clerk, dicussing how kids don't know what good music is....
Lessee, I'm a frontend superviser of the local Wal-Mart, I'm lead guitar and singer of a successful local band, and I'm a fulltime student majoring in psychology. I do idolize guitarists because *gasp* I do play.

No offense, mate, but you were stepping all over Tommy Iommi's dick barefoot with toenail polish on a few posts back, so I wouldn't get too insulting about people having musical heroes, regardless of whether they're musicians themselves or not.

I'm seeing this a lot recently, where, YOU'RE the lame one because you have learned facts and retained knowledge. X 1,000.

Like, in the Fantastic Four 2 forum, this oblivious guy made a thread wondering if in the movie, The Silver Surfer would reveal that Magneto is his father.
Then after a flurry of "WTF?"'s, someone explained that he was mixing up The Silver Surfer with Quicksilver.
And he goes, "Oh, sorry I'm not a huge comicbook trivia DORK like all of you are."
There's nothing "sad" about being interested in the history of Rock and Roll.

wal-mart huh....?? I could say some stuff, but I will hold back

psychology huh??? not much of a demand for psychologist today... being the smart man you are, you should have realized that and actually went the hole 9 yards and became a psychatrist.... but again I won't go there...

if you read what I wrote, if you play, idolize away.. if it wasn't for them idolizing and learning from them, we wouldn't have anything today.... but for some guy, who doesn't, to sit on his computer studying some musicain because he has no life is sad... I find people who idolize celebrities sad... unless ofcourse they are an actor...

it's called having a life... led zepplin didn't get where they are by arguing on a superhero internet forum....

Sorry, but what a bunch of complete and utter, judgemental, holier-than-thou bullsh1t. I've been a musician nearly my entire life and I'll never begrudge someone for taking an interest in music and musicians and being inspired by that, same goes for actors or comic book characters or whatever else in life motivates them. If they take appreciation in the arts of any kind, then they have my respect.

To be fair kid your 22 and you're allo ready in rehab ain't worked out too well for you, also how can you have a go at a guy for getting a job in wallmart while he's at college. We can't all have rich mommies and daddies to pay for everything.

I started out defending you, now I just think you're being a dick

also, oddly, a lot of that questioning the employment of the person who's right about something.
A guy said I should get a job, McDonald's is hiring because I said I didn't like the first pics of The Thing.
Lol, so weird

imo, if your interests are not going to forward yourself as a person and a proffesional, why bother.... right now I'm a engineer desginer, so I study, and read up on alot of art, archutecture, etc... becuase I'm proffesionaly interested in that... plus, entering my 2nd year of law school right now, I don't have time to indulge myself with useless knowledge... i dould care less about who played this, or who is the greast whatever, it's not going to help me out in the long run, unless of course VH1 brings back rock and roll jepordy....

I only concentrate on what will benefit me financialy and as a overall person... rock knowledge isnt on the top of that list. I know what I like and that's it
