I just got back from eating Chipotle for the first time. There has been alot of talk and mixed reviews about these two places in the black taco thread. So i decided to make it its own thread and add a poll to it.

Here's my take:

As far as prices, both places are pretty much the same....kinda expensive but not too bad.

As far as menu selection, i have to say that Qdoba has a larger amount of options over Chipotle.

The atmosphere/enviroment/look of the two places also goes to Qdoba. Chipotle was very blah. I wanted to leave as soon as i got there. Qdoba feels more relaxed and inviting.

The food portions also seem more generous from Qdoba. Much larger in size. Although, i have to say that i made less of a mess while eating a burrito from Chipotle.

The service was much more fast at Chipotle than Qdoba. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes and that's including eating my food.

On a side note, the girls behind the counter were much more hotter at Chipotle than at Qdoba so that scores them some points in my book. :woot::hehe:

All in all, i have to give it to Qdoba as being the all around better of the two.

I hope you enjoyed my (somewhat) review and hope to see some voting on the poll. If i missed anything, feel free to add to the topic.

HAVE AN AWESOME BURRITO FILLED DAY!!! :yay::fhm::yay:

I have no idea what Qdoba is. But I'll have to find one.

But Chipotle makes you crap blood.

I haven't tried Qdoba, but I hope my day is not burrito filled. Imagine how disgusting it would be if I had to swim through piles of burritos ala Scrooge McDuck to go about my day?

LOL...i love this community. it brightens my day!

Cool, there's a Qdoba in the Memphis area. I'll have to check it out sometime

Chipotle doesn't have the bbq sauce that qdoba does. I hate spicy stuff, and the bbq sauce is just right for me. The burritos are kinda plain without something on it.

Chipotle has never caused any digestive problems for me. I don't know where these complaints are coming from.

It's just a "South Park" joke.

The Qdoba in Lawrence closed. It was kind of "meh" anyway, while Chipotle is the Burrito of Life.

Never had Qdoba, but Chipotle is :awesome:.

Both are incredibly overrated by college kids that don't know much about Mexican food. They're good places, and I'd recommend them to anyone who likes Mexican, but there are much better places than both for better prices. With that being said, I'll go with Qdoba slightly over Chipotle.

I never had Qdoba, but Chipotle has never failed to satisfy my appetite. :awesome:

Qdoba's is ok but i think Chipotle tastes better. I think Qdoba has a bigger menu though..

Lindy, Rice, Black Bean, Half Chicken, Half Steak. Guac, Lettuce, Fresh Jalapeno, and Hot sauce. No, a little more. No Chips to go. Thanks.

I have never met a college kid that has confused burrito bars for Mexican food.

I miss the ugly naked guys (hard or soft) :(

I'll check out Moe's as well since there's a couple in town.
