Did I miss something in the end of TLH or something? In Dark Victory it seems that one of Alberto Falcone's hands is like severely injured and looks all purple and shrunken and crap. Was that from when Batman beat him up when he got caught?

The whole thing with Batman constantly saying "I...I can't be wrong." was him under the influence of Scarecrow's gasses right? I remember him and Alfred talking about Bruce not wanting help or something and they mention Scarecrow...so that's why?

Did Poison Ivy play a role at all in the story? Like did she do something that was part of the plan? I was wondering if there was something I overlooked cause I mean mainly you see her try to flirt with Two-Face and he doesn't go with it.

Was there a point in Two-Face killing Porter at all besides the fact that "Harvey Dent is married." or whatever he said after he killed her. Joker and Mr.Freeze mentioned something about her turning them in? Confused about that.

Two-Face killing Porter could just be a sign of how much Harvey has changed but i can't really remeber. i'll have to read it again

Yeah, Batman stepped on it when he beat him down.

Ya I could tell that, but the main thing that confused me was the whole thing with Joker and Mr. Freeze and Joker saying she was planning on turning them in or something??

If he stepped on it why does it look like shrunken and pruny and crap. Looks like acid spilled onto his hand.

Wish I could answer but I haven't read LH or DV since who knows how long ago. I'm gonna read them again very soon. But one things for sure, DV is about just as good as LH.

Yea it was really good. I am trying to decide which one I like more though...DV or TLH.

I'll try to answer the questions but it's been a while since I read Dark Victory so don't take all my answers as definitive.

Yeah, Batman beat him pretty bad so his hand got injured and if I remember correctly it was paralyzed.

Yes, one of Batman's biggest fears is to make a mistake and Scarecrows gas made him so hung up on not making a mistake that he couldn't think straight. If I remember correctly Alfred even had to correct him when he forgot one of the victims or messed up the order of the victims.

I don't think she was doing anything special. She just joined forces with Two-Face and the others.

No point other than that he was done using her for information and didn't need her anymore. He also got mad when she came down to the sewer and started acting like his girlfriend and silenced her so that she couldn't reveal the plan to anyone.

I was re-reading Dark Victory and noticed the beginning answers my question about Alberto's arm and then they even talk about it when D.A. Porter talks to him at Arkham. So that one is answered along with your guys help.

Thanks for making sure that my question about the Scarecrow thing was correct. I thought that was what the whole "I...I can't be wrong" thing and the ignoring Selina and not wanting help was about so thanks for clarifying that too.

While I was re-reading it I noticed the one thing Poison Ivy did. She killed Lucia Viti.

And yea you guys are right about Two-Face killing Porter thing besides the obvious. I was only confused cause Joker was talking about her possibly turning them in but nevermind about that I understand now. While re-reading it Harvey had the gun already ready before she got there to frame Alberto so he planned on killing Porter reguardless most likely.

Thanks a bunch guys. You helped clarify some stuff for me that I was guessing or thinking but not 100% sure about. :)

Okay I got another question about stuff in Dark Victory.

In the end of the story you see Two-Face with Falcone's dead and frozen body above him. Clearly Two-Face is the one that broke into Falcone's grave and took his body...but what happens after that?

Is there a story after Dark Victory that continues or ends what happens with Two-Face having Falcone's body?

There's not any stories that directly continue from Dark Victory, but I would assume that Falcone's body was either left in the cave or (more likely) put back in his grave by the police.

I think Porter was Gilda Dent, who got plastic surgery. Think about it, she even mentions it to Gordon "Have to heard from Gilda since...the accident."
She probably became a darker person to fit into two-faces life. If you re-read it the clues do add up.

and porter's history - her being at oxford etc? u saying gilda created the porter identity or killed porter and took her place? if ur right? why didn't she let two face know in order to save her life?

The police putting it back? But at the end of DV you see Harvey with the body...and no one knows where he is obviously...so how would the police find it and put it in the grave.

I doubt that would happen...that sounds dumb...plus has nothing to do with my question.

Indeed, but i created my own question or statement rather, sorry I had no idea this thread was all about you and your questions.

You're right. I remembered it wrong. I thought it was shown during the chase through the caves. It's probably still down there.

Would'nt the ice have melted or either it was destroyed in the earthquake.

Very good point. I'm just wondering though if there was some story that had to deal with that part; guess not. :(

Yeah, the ice would have melted after a while I think and the body would have rotted or gotten eaten by rats or something. I would also think that most of the caves got destroyed in the earthquake.

critical reading skills mustn't be a priority for some people these days ...
