Apocalypse Quicksilver Solo?

So my question is the audience seems to have reacted well to QS's scenes this far. And Fox clearly likes using the character. So why not give him his own film?

I think he's be more than capable of carrying one.

He's a fun side character with fun action scenes. I'm personally not interested enough in the character to want to see a solo film.

All they can manage for him so far is comedy action scenes where he is vastly overpowered. Could he carry an entire film?

He has ties to Magneto and now to the X-Men.

A Genosha/House of M movie spin-off in which he goes to find his father on Genosha might work well, especially if we also get Wanda and Lorna.

It's not about whether they deserve it or not, just because they may "deserve" it doesnt mean they would suit a solo movie.

I love Evan Peters and QS is so much fun in the movie but no to a solo movie, they are plenty of more deserving actual XMen who should get that honor. Also I don't really think that's a movie that would do that well, I'd rather see him with an ensemble cast then a solo film.

I mean Deadpool had Colossus and Negasonic whatever cameo to help him carry the film. QS wouln't be carrying the film alone, he'd just be the main character.

I think the following should get solos.


-Quicksilver(cameo from Magneto, Scarlet Witch(if she even exists here)): They don't have to rey purely on super OP funny comedy scenes to make the film.
-Magneto and Xavier(in the same film): I really like the dynamic the two have.
-Nightcrawler(with cameo from Mystique): I don't know I like him. And I believe Mystique is his mother still in the universe. Although it's kinda weird when JLaw doesn't seem to age, she looks forever 19 to me.
-Summers Brothers(Havok(before death), Cyclops and Vulcan(dealing with Havoks death afterwards)): Come on you can't tell me you don't wanna see Vulcan.

The power they gave QS (which is more like time manipulation than super speed) really remove all the tension in his scenes, and there's no villains like Reverse Flash to challenge him either.

I honestly don't want him back. Like they totally made him into a good guy and a full time X-Men and I'm like.... why cannot Angel, Psylocke get that treatment who are important to the X-Men in the comics?

Not so, no opinion is invalid simply because you disagree. Also whether there are better or worse X Men in the comics doesn't change the fact that the QS are easily the best scenes in the last two films.
