Sequels Should Quicksilver get his own spin-off before Gambit?

Considering that Gambit has been delayed once again (http://screencrush.com/gambit-movie-delay/), I think Quicksilver should get his own spin-off first. He is already well-liked by the general audience (I have yet to encounter a non-comic book fan moviegoer who dislikes the character), and Deadpool has proven that a comedic X-Men film can be very lucrative, plus Evan Peters is a very talented, charismatic actor. As long as it has the right script and the right director, a Quicksilver solo movie should be a big hit.

Before gambit? After gambit? That's pretty irrelevant to me. Peters is a scene stealer so if they want to give him one is be marginally interested

I voted no. Okay Evan Peters is pretty awesome as Quicksilver, but a solo movie? Not really my cup of tea.

Agreed, I think some characters work better as a small part of a bigger collection of characters. Hulk worked much better as a side character in Avengers rather than his own two films.

I think Gambit has the charm and charisma to carry a full film potentially, QS I'm not so sure.

^I would disagree with Hulk. He's an A-list Marvel hero and we have yet to get a great Hulk film.

Not his own, but I wouldn't be opposed to an X-Factor television spin-off with him. Evan Peters is already largely known from American Horror Story. It would be a nice way to bridge the gap between the television and movies worlds.

Plus, X-Factor lends itself way more to a weekly television format than a movie, in my opinion.

No. Quicksilver should not even get a spinoff, at least not this version of the character. I cant see him really carrying a film. The only way I could see a Quicksilver film working is if the Marvel rights were unified. I think his most interesting material was the stuff with Crystal and the Inhumans in Son of M and of course the dynamic with Magneto.

I would love to see a Quicksilver movie, he's been my favorite part of the last two X-Men movies, Evan Peters is hilarious and I think the GA would eat it up, if done right. Will they actually do a Quicksilver movie? ehhh...

I wouldn't mind seeing him cameo in Deadpool or something either.
