I don't think they should mention their parentage, because In the (unlikely) event Marvel gets the X-Men back, they can then do the whole Magneto being their father story.

This is so unlikely as to not be worth planning around. There's far higher odds they'd get the Spider-man rights back, and that's a vanishing long shot.

they kind of have to be or their lineage is inhuman. since magneto is owned by fox, they can't be his kids in avengers, or they can be but he's never mentioned which just defeats the purpose of them being anyone important's kids.

if you look at the 60s x-men comics, magneto had sw dance for him, which is extremely weird if he knew she was his daughter. so they could have that early magneto/twins relationship with strucker...where they are his minions and don't know who their real father is.
