I'm not digging the prospect of saying goodbye for forever to people I love/need, or even admire/like.

My condolences, TFT. A guy I graduated from high school with passed away during the summer, and even though we were never close friends or anything, it still freaked me out quite a bit. Some of my best friends were very close to him, and I actually had to be the one to break the news to an ex-girlfriend of his who was still carrying a torch.
