I need some help with a research paper that was okayed.

It's on positive black/racial figures created in comics in the 1960s.

I need any issues dealing with the Civil Rights Movement (I already have enough X-Men...), minority characters or minority politics

I also need scans of

- The famous confrontation between Hal Jordan and the black man, where Hal is accused of being racist.

- The panel where we first meet John Stewart. GLGA #87.

- Anything with Black Panther is appretiated.

Any additional help would be most appretiated.

As long as I have issue numbers I can track these down myself if necessary.

Hey Shadow this sounds interesting you a college student also?

Yep, one more semester after this.

I'll be the first student to graduate with a concentration in "black cultures in the Americas"

Well that is not your major. My major is Political Science. My concentration is something entirely different.

Aloha,
Interesting topic. Please go over to my web site and check out my Black Panther section. Also, I have a free download of a chapter in my thesis on Race and comic book characters called Media and Youth Culture- Les Enfant Terrible.
Best of luck with your report.
