In the next step of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege's evolution, Ubisoft will introduce players to two all-new Operators from Australia: Gridlock and Mozzie. While the French publisher has finally revealed their full bios, it's still hard to say what they can do, as Ubisoft will tell us much more about them on February 17th, during the full reveal of Operation Burnt Horizon at the Six Invitational in Montréal.

Just like all the previous Siege DLCs, the game's fourth year of post-launch support will be divided into four separate expansions, and each of them will be themed around a nation's counterterrorism unit (CTU). Be sure to take a closer look at Defender Mozzie and Attacker Gridlock's profiles down below:

"A farm girl from Central Queensland, Tori “Gridlock” Tallyo Fairous learned from an early age that the best way through any hardship is with the help of family. Years spent running the family cattle farm honed her natural leadership skills, but her preferred method for dealing with problems is to get stuck into them herself and to ignore the inevitable paperwork that piles up afterward. Suffice to say, taking on a more formal role as an officer in the SASR hasn’t been one of her top priorities, despite the many attempts made to promote her.

Max “Mozzie” Goose is her opposite. Affectionately known as a “show pony” there’s no mistaking when he walks into a room. He can talk for hours about the wild stunts he’s pulled… But at the end of the day it’s his exceptional work ethic and ability to integrate with any team – as well as his unnecessary yet spectacular derring-do – that made him a candidate for Rainbow."

Whether the two of them can work against each other as effectively as they have together remains to be seen. In addition to the new playable characters, Burnt Horizon will also bring the game's 21st map: Outback. Set in Australia’s Red Heart, the map is an homage to all the dusty service stations and motels that populate the forgotten highways of the continent and places filled with hardworking locals.

Ahead of Burnt Horizon’s full reveal on Sunday, be sure to check out the DLC's CG trailers down below:

The Siege is a brand-new style of gameplay embracing the reality of counter-terrorist operatives across the world: intense and asymmetrical close-quarters combat between attackers and defenders. As a defender, you will have the means to transform your environment into strongholds to prevent the attackers from breaching. As an attacker, you will have many planning options to face this challenge and defuse these situations.

The latest Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege drop of content, titled Operation Burnt Horizon, is out now, giving all owners of the award-winning shooter a chance to play as two never-before-seen operators: Defender Mozzie and Attacker Gridlock. To put their skills to the test, Ubisoft has also introduced the community to the brand new Outback map, a multi-building roadhouse set in the Australian desert.

Each operator possesses unique abilities forever changing the core gameplay experience of Siege. For example, Mozzie brings his own drones to the fight, allowing him to steal someone else’s. Yes, armed with his trusty Pest Launcher, Mozzie can hack the Attacking team’s drones and make them his own.

While the Australian operators are already available in-game, six more will join the highly popular shooter's roster in 2019, including soldiers from the US, Denmark, Peru, Mexico, Kenya, and India.

To learn more about Operation Burnt Horizon, be sure to take a look at the "making of" video below:

Following yesterday’s introduction of Attacker Nøkk, Ubisoft has released an all-new trailer for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege, this time putting the spotlight on Defender Collinn “Warden” McKinley.

According to Ubisoft, Warder will be equipped with "special eyesight" bypassing flash and smoke grenades. As a Secret Service Operator, McKinley has mastered the uneasy art of preparation and improvisation with a career of 30 years in close-protection. Further details on that deadly Operator and his Danish friend Nøkk will be revealed during the upcoming Pro League Finals in Milan on May 19th.

As a reminder, those two operators will be the most prominent, but also not the only major additions that are coming to Siege in the highly anticipated Operation Phantom Sight update – but don't expect any new maps or modes as Ubisoft is focusing on polishing the game's already existing mechanics.

Without further ado, be sure to take a closer look at Warden in the latest Siege trailer down below:
