While the full reveal of the next step in
Rainbow Six: Siege's evolution,
Operation Wind Bastion, will be livestreamed on
Rainbow Six Twitch Channel November 17th and 18th during the Pro League Finals, Ubisoft has already unveiled some juicy details on the expansion announcing that
Wind Bastion will bring us a map that represents the pinnacle of military training facilities located in Morocco.
Three days ago, Ubisoft announced that Jalal “Kaid” El Fassi is the new Defender joining the ever-expanding
Rainbow Six: Siege cast of characters, and the publisher has finally revealed Kaid's colleague, new Attacker Sanaa “Nomad” El Maktoub. According to Ubisoft, Nomad travels wherever the wind takes her, as she’s among the few explorers who can cross the Sahara and march along the Arctic Circle.

Brought up in a wealthy family, she enlisted in the Royal Moroccan Army at a young age and graduated from the renowned Kasbah Sehkra Mania. She later joined the GIGR. Having served multiple tours with the Mountain Infantry Battalion, she’s her unit’s expert on environmental operations.
Between tours, she undertakes solo expeditions where she sketches out her trips in her notebook. Both introspective dreamer and practical survivalist, she’s visited more countries on foot than any other Operator in Rainbow Six.
During an expedition through Kenya, the idea of having a non-lethal pushback device crossed her mind, something that can push away the predatory wildlife near her camp without causing them harm. With further development and testing for military applications, her signature rifle attachment was born: The Airjab Launcher.
In addition to her trademark gadget, she possesses unmatched resilience to survive the elements and her endurance is famous within military circles. Her travels also enabled her to encounter many secluded cultures, which in turn resulted in self-taught skills in cultural diplomacy. The latter may be a soft power but it’s not something Six could overlook. Nomad’s top conditioning and her repertoire of unique skills were more than enough to warrant an invitation.
The Siege is a brand-new style of gameplay embracing the reality of counter-terrorist operatives across the world: intense and asymmetrical close-quarters combat between attackers and defenders. As a defender, you will have the means to transform your environment into strongholds to prevent the attackers from breaching. As an attacker, you will have many planning options to face this challenge and defuse these situations.
