How the heck do you rate Sucker Punch above Dawn of the Dead?

I haven't seen Dawn of the Dead, but...I like Sucker Punch. I don't like some highly regarded movies, as in more highly regarded than Dawn of the Dead. Therefore, I like Sucker Punch more than them.

Snyders movies dont get the best reviews but he loves working with dark, violent or morally questionable characters. His movies are bleak and violent. I still think Man of steel is his most "fun" movie.
My favorite of his is BvS ultimate edition but I just loved the mix of his Superman and his world with a Batman thats mixed with Frank Miller and Snyders traits and Afflecks take on the character. I loved seeing Batman and Superman at their lowest. Down. Dirty and defeated.
Hopefully JL becomes his most fun, exciting and well recieved movie.

Interesting, 300 was on Tv last night and while it's visually striking and the fight choreography is impressive, it occurred to me that your comment is 100% spot on correct !

Indeed. The tagline of the film could have been "It's raining men, hallelujah!" Followed by "Sparta First."

I haven't seen Suckerpunch (and I'm not going to), but without that it seems like I like each film less than the one before.

Dawn is easily my favorite because it was a great film from start to finish, as I get lower down on my list, that's what I struggle with when it comes to Snyder's films. Half of Sucker Punch was really good. Parts of BvS could've been good too, but the other halves were terrible.

Dawn of the Dead is his only decent movie. And even then, it pales in comparison to the original.

Suck Punch is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It's unwatchable.
