Rank George Lazenby's movies

Great thread :)

Though, you should have gone for Dalton so there was atleast a chance of having a discussion about the choices.

Anyway after thinking about this for a while I decided to rank Lazenbys films like this:

1. On Her Majesty's Secret Service

:)

I think it's clearly his best movie.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service: 7/10

7/20:
06. A view to a kill
07. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
08. Live and let die

I would have liked Sean Connery doing OHMSS, i thought script was written for him more then Lazenby, don't get me wrong Lazenby was good but I missed Connery after all Connery is the classic James Bond.

You're right, OHMSS is proberbaly Lazenby's worst Bond movie.

I didn't say that his worst movie is OHMSS, I missed Connery in that movie.

I watched OHMSS again yesterday and I seemed to enjoy it a lot more this time round. The hand to hand combat was prety explosive too.

His best is probably OHMSS.

OHMSS is pretty good, but I think OHMSS is his best movie though.

You guys are still wrong. OHMSS is not Lazenby's best. OHMSS is Lazenby's best. No contest.

OHMSS=On Her Momma's Secret Service

Ew.

Lazenby's acting: 7/10 (he gets better in the role DURING the movie)
Action sequences: 10/10, some of the best action sequences of the franchise.
Ending: 10/10, one of the best IMHO, very emotional.

Cinematography is also superb, especially the scene where Bond and co attack in a helicopter during the climax.

Definetly Lazenby's best Bond movie.

Would you be TOO surprised to discover that this is NOT the only movie where Lazenby plays a Bond-like spy?

In fact, Lazenby even played Jor-El in the 90's SUPERBOY series.

In fact, Lazenby even played Jor-El in the 90's SUPERBOY series.

He even played 'JB' in The Return of the Man from Uncle in 1983. Co-incidentally, the year Connery played Bond again and Moore was in Octopussy.

Lazenby also plays a Bondish spy named James in an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents called Diamonds Aren't Forever that aired in 1989. Every time he says his last name, a loud noise from offscreen drowns it out.

Definetly Lazenby's best Bond movie.

AND one of the most fun movies of the whole franchise. Flawed? Yes. Fun and action-packed? You bet your ass!
