Only in fan communities. As a film, it is very strong. Not nearly as strong as TDK and arguably weaker than BB (I go back and forth between the two, myself), however it not only went over like gangbusters with the GA (which to be fair eats up Bayformers), it also was a critical success. And at the very least, 4/5 of even the nitpicking fan community will begrudge praise to Hathaway's Catwoman and/or the ending of the movie.
I feel that it will develop more critics in fanboy circles overtime because it honestly does not stand up to daily scrutiny for years and years from fans who obsess over all the minutia. Mind you the fact that TDK could is a rare feat. Fans will throw the baby out with the bathwater when the reboot comes and claim they always hated TDKR and even Nolan's whole trilogy.
But that will be different from this thread. It is a case of fanboys moving on to the shiny new toy. Joker, I remember you hear when SM2 was out and you were Doc Ock. While we had a number of debates about that film, you can agree the vast majority of the Hype loved that movie and SM1 for that matter. Since TASM came out, the vast majority feigns ignorance to ever even liking anything once touched by Raimi. The same thing happened after Singer made SR and Vaughn made FC. They all started hating on Singer's first two X-films and praising Vaughn (that quickly stopped once Singer took over DOFP).
My point is TDKR was widely well received and will only be turned on because fanboys turn on everything. These movies were received with heavy criticism upon their release in this thread.
