Spider-Man 2 IMO the best Marvel movie with serious dramatic elements and romance and what it means to be a hero for the hero while also providing great action and classic costumed hero vs eccentric bad guy.

X2 IMO is the best Marvel movie for superheroes as people, dramatic human and superhero relations, team dynamic and overall action

Guardians is IMO the best Marvel movie for sheer fun and entertainment but also for sentimentality

I think IM2 is the weak link of the series, although not as bad as some say IMO.

Myself, I consider Origins the only weak link of the X-Films.

the Spider-Man Trilogy (Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3)--
Parts I and II are brilliant, and III is decent…even with a few cringeworthy scenes, might even put that one above The Last Stand--if I was doing the films individually…

4.
the Blade Trilogy (Blade, Blade II, Blade: Trinity...and Blade: The Series)--
Did anybody know Blade before the films? I know I didn't…this series got me into researching and collecting the comics.

Daredevil: Director's Cut, Elektra--
DC is one of Marvel's best…it's also the only reason Elektra shares the number four spot…honestly, if I was doing these separate instead of series…I'd probably have Elektra dead last…I do think Man-Thing is better…


6.
Fantastic Four Films (Fantastic Four, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer)--
I did think they did the family aspect of the FF justice. I don't think the films were that bad. Doom was horribly miscast…

7.
The Amazing Spider-Man , haven't seen 2 yet…

I just cannot rate any of the other films beyond this point apart from Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy:

I went through the list chronologically and awarded every movie a rating out of 10 and then ranked the movies accordingly.
After seeing the finished list I'm a little surprised to see Blade not making the top 10 and below both Captain America and
new X-Men movies, as it has been one of my personal favorites for a long time. I can only blame the overall average
quality of the franchise and Stephen Dorff. Also, I've seen every movie on the list at least twice except for Elektra,
Ghost Rider, The Amazing Spiderman 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy. The first two for being awful, and the latter because
it's not out on bluray yet.
