We've had four actors-only tow of whom have played the bat twice-and yet we have 8 costumes total between them. Here you're just going to rank them from the one you like most to the one you like least. Here's mine.

B89 suit is STILL the best. I'd say the first Forever suit is the second best. Yes, yes, yes it has nipples but if you took away the nipples it would actually be the best. In third I'd say the Adam West suit since it was actually, you know, faithful to the comics. In fourth the Begins suit. In fifth the second (and last) suit worn in Forever. In 6th the Returns suit. And 7th the Batman & Robin suits.

As for the TDK suit. I'll wait to see how it looks on film.

Why did I rank the '66 suit, and so high on the list, you ask? First of all, it's the most faithful to the comics version of its time. Secondly, the guy wearing it didn't require padding (whatever paunch West had actually fit in well with the general tone of the show). Plus, it's the first time we got a utility belt that, y'know, looked like it could be useful and actually had stuff in it. That's partially why I ranked the '89 suit beneath West's (more on that a bit later).

I ranked the TDK suit below the '66 suit because IMO there is a limit to how "armored" Batman should look, and TDK is pushing it. He's starting to look like Robocop now...

And I'm sorry, but ANY rubber suit that has SCULPTED MUSCLE TONE, let alone ANATOMICAL FEATURES, goes to the bottom of the list automatically. Keaton's first suit still looks faithful enough to its original purpose to be just in the middle.

Batman89 suit was rubber...and looked like it.
