I loved that rotating shot when Manta was falling off the cliff
Working on the review for my website and I have 22 paragraphs lol

Not only was the choreography good during the action, the action itself was very hard hitting. Like you FELT the blows and it felt visceral which is something I really appreciate and want in my action movies. A lot of action movie directors can choreograph a decent action or fight scene but you don't FEEL it when the combattants are fighting.

And that's just the opening submarine sequence right?![]()
I saw it in 3D, it was OK, in some scenes 3D effect looked great, in others it was barely noticable.Did anyone watch this in 3-D? That final set piece alone makes me wanna see it in that format. lol
I would like to hear experiences of people watching this movie in 4DX.

This movie has some of the best 360 degree camera work to film action scenes and continuous pan shots to film action.
The stunt choreography was great too. Other favorite thing was use of wide shots showing landscape and under sea scenes that gave this movie a great sense of scale.
Some of the goofy / cheesy moments worked for me, like Topo playing drums.
I liked the Brine king too and crab people's army looked like Dwarves army from Hobbit/Lotr movies. Fun fact - the voice actor for Brine King played Gimli.
Saw it yesterday, went in with low expectations and had a fun ride. Definitely better than BvS and JL. Not to the level of Wonder Woman. There were some of the action sequences that felt a little long/could’ve been trimmed down a bit. And as I think others have said, there was a cheesiness factor kind of throughout....
for example the kiss with Mera, given that it was in the middle of a battle, if it had been just a quick kiss I would’ve been okay with it. But it was this long drawn out thing with explosions in the background that had me rolling my eyes a bit
Loved the cast, Momoa is Aquaman. He clearly has a blast with the character. All in all, better than I was expecting. Would gladly see it in the theater again if I get the chance and will definitely get it in home release

Haha, totally. Can’t ever look at that the same way again.I was smiling like an idiot when Aquaman was riding on a giant Seahorse-dragon thing into battle.
Wan redeemed that image of Aquaman on a Seahorse in Superfriends cartoon.
Same here at my showing.Agreed, I was surprised how real action scenes in submarine fight felt.
One more thing, during the final act, when the Karathen appears the background noise was so loud (with deep bass effects) that I could Feel my goddamn seat shaking, I thought I'm getting 4D experience while watching it in 3D.![]()
