Well, we already have a thread for the teaser trailer. The theatrical trailer was released today. Well, you know the drill. Watch it (hopefully, the HD version), and vote!

:hellboy:

Gave it an eight.

Good hustle and plenty of eye candy but the first trailer felt more dynamic and effective.

Loved every second of it. Except the ''we have company'' line, but it means sod-all in the end.

And this will definitely trump the first in action. But the reason I loved the first Hellboy was because of the heart that was there. It felt like such an original film rather than a comic book film. I truly hope that wasn't lost on Guillermo, and he has kept the same feeling alive here.

2nd best of the season after iron man's on pure footage....

probably third behind the dark knight with surrounding hype. should be a great watch and it looks a lot better than the first already...

I loved the new trailer, and thought it was better than the first one. The first trailer made me interested in the film, this second trailer has made me excited to see the film.

God this was so close to getting a 10, SO CLOSE, but they had to do it again, in the scene were HB says, "I wouldnt do that if i were you." THE LEFT HAND OF DOOM!!!!!!!!!

WHY GDT, you are so much better than this, and we deserve more, other than that, an awesome trailer, i honestly think we have seen the trailer for the summers best movie here!

Good trailer, the scale looks bigger and the action looks cool with some great SFX, the same feel is there though and it looks like Abe has a bigger part with Liz also evolving in her role. Another good thing was that it didn't feel like it gave half the movie away.

8/10

I love Abe's new voice. I prefer it over the first film's decision.

I LOVED this trailer. The perfect introduction then combination of action and intensity that will get people interested. I've been saying this but I think THIS is the trailer that may actually get the mainstream interested in Hellboy enough to go spend their money and see it in theaters 1 week before The Dark Knight! Definitely a fantastic trailer. :woot:

^Lets hope so, because i want to see the 3rd movie GDT was talking about because it sounds awesome, i'll be seeing and TDK a few times. Anyway HBII comes out later than TDK here in england.

But what is mindblowing about this trailer is the fact that HBII doesnt have even half the budget of TDK, IM or TIH, yet looks just as or even more expensive. God, just imagine what GDT could do with some of those budgets.

I know I haven't been on here as much as I used to but I just wanted to peep in and say that this looks really really good

I loved the Incredible Hulk trailer, but I think this trumps it

Beautiful trailer...i coudnt close my mouth during it...it hasnt happen for a while...since TDK.

8/10
I never took much notice of this film but the trailer made me sit up and take notice. Has now surpassed TIH as my third most anticipated superhero film of the summer

The dialogue feels really, really trite, though - that's my main quibble. Lines like "we've got company," and others just put me off immensely.

And it's not even the lines themselves, so much as it is the delivery of them - I get that Hellboy's a very blue collar character, but make it sound natural. Make it sound less like something that's written, and more like something that it spoken.

dont give GDT bigger budgets. look what happened with singer. like watching a small kid with tons of candy. what singer did with the dugets on the x-men movies was incredible. what he did with the moeny on SR was pathetic.

i think GDT and singer need to have small budgets. because then they can push everything to the limit.

Anyone have any idea what movie this new trailer will officially be attached to?

I've only seen one of them and I liked what I saw. Can any one post the others? I missed those.

I doubt GDT would be as careless and wasteful with a big budget as Singer was, I LOVED SR, but it is quite evident that Singer wasted a lot of the money during production of it. I highly doubt that would happen with GDT.

I am looking forward too Hellboy 2 and i noticed that Hellboy 2 and TIH have been looked over compared too Iron Man, Indy 4 and TDK. Whos to say these two won't be hits. I think this years number one film looks too be Iron Man but who really knows. Just because Hellboy 2 doens't have the budget doesn't mean it won't be fantastic. I love gritty comic book movies.

Guillermo, with a $150 million movie (as will be the case on each of The Hobbit films), will make it look as though twice that is spent on it. he doesn't waste a cent, thank goodness, and he's not in the habit of going overboard with anything except his imagination - and so far that's worked out wonderfully.

AFter watching the Russian Trailer I am considering watching the whole movie that way! Russian sounds so cool! Also spelling Hellboy in Russian looks FREAKIN BADARSE!

Agreed, i cant wait to see what he does with The Hobbit, though it concerns me what will happen with Hellboy 3.

Near the end of shooting HB2, GdT gave jackets to the crew that said "Hellboy 3 - not with me." He told them he would produce and write it, but not direct. If he waits until after THE HOBIT, Ron will be about 65...
