RDJ and Robert Duvall in....The Judge

kinda weird to think that Jack Nicholson is old enough those days to play Downey's father

This could be an interesting pairing, consider me intrigued.

^.....and there goes my desire to see this movie

What a waste. I wanted to see cinemas all over the world implode from the sheer charisma overload of jack and Downey.

Duvall is just as good as Nicholson, if not better.

Duvall is one of the greats, but I get how fans would want to see RDJ and Jack play off each other, kind of two sides of the same coin. Downey is pretty much playing the roles Jack would have if he was in his heyday.

Iron Man? Sherlock Holmes? Not really Nicholson material.

This. jack and Robert seems a better fit, or a more explosive one. Not dissing Duvall here.

Well, not the commercially successful stuff. Maybe stuff like the Soloist and Zodiac. Downey still has to play a villain, which I think will probably be one of his more coveted roles in the future.

Ya as much as I admire and respect Duvall, Jack just sounded perfect for this project. As far as I know Jack hasn't done anything in a while am I wrong?

Well he is an old man isnt that what old men do, is hit on beautiful young girls that win oscars?

Sounds interesting. So I guess we can say Jack Nicholson is officially retired. I'll miss the guy :csad:

Looks interesting. Jack would have been great, but Duvall is awesome too so I'm not complaining.

I can see why they chose D'nofrio for Kingpin now. Dude blew up. And they set it in my home state to boot.

It looks nice. I don't like the trailer itself too much though.

So it's more of a father/Son drama than a courtroom thriller which is a bit disappointing, but it looks decent.
