What attractions are near where you live? You know what I mean. Like the Halloween Horror Nights. I'm a big fan of these. I've been thinking about making up my own. A Trail of Terrors through the wood. It would end with a Bed and Breakfast for a few lost souls. And in the middle of the night, a zombie attack would begin. They wouldn't know about it of course. It would be part of the tour. I'd call it "Dead and Breakfast."

Jason's Woods is really big in our area. When this got started it was basically a haunted barn and a haunted hay ride and now it's huge in the area.

We have other imitators, but this is the original

I'm in FL, so HHN is a few hours up the road. I haven't been since '06 though. I haven't dug the themes enough to make the drive.

Cedar Point , which is 3 hrs north of me and is the best place in the word for roller coaster fans, has a big long celebration that runs through Sept and Oct every weekend every year called "Halloweekends" where, at dark, the lights go out (well, not ALL of them) and they have fog machines everywhere, and workers there dressed up as various scary creatures, who chase you around and jump out and scare you all over the park. :)

I haven't been to it YET during that time, but I plan on it this weekend.

We also have a couple old prisons and mental wards that are supposed to be haunted that hosts haunted tours every year around that time.

I'm in Florida as well. We have Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios and Howl-O'-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa. I personally love both, and I try to go to both every year. Howl-O'-Scream is cheaper, btw.

The Six Flags in our area does a HUGE Halloween theme in the woods behind the park. I'm going this year, and it's always really really scary. I'm so pumped!
