I refuse to give most comic publishers (ESPECIALY Marvel) the satisfaction of any sort of reaction other than a lifeless "meh". Comics death (ESPECIALLY from Marvel) are too common and too hyped up. For a death to really mean something, it can't be revealed months in advance in a monthly solicitation ("This May, Spider-Man faces his toughest moment and SOMEONE DIES! Nothing will be the same!") and then undone ten months later with the most typical or overused method.
In fact the last comic death that actually almost made me react normally was the death of [blackout]Marla[/blackout] some months ago in ASM. Even that death was cheapened by the fact that I knew someone had to die, and it had to be someone close to [blackout]JJJ, since Jameson and his family was being targeted[/blackout] so it wasn't even a surprise out of nowhere death thanks to Marvel practically telling us who the most likely death candidates were.
Anyway, Kurt dies, he'll be back soon, then someone else'll die...
