Not sure if anyone ever thought about this but I was watching a clip today and I never really thought about it until now.

We all know the whole thing with Clark and the glasses suspended disbelief and all cause hey it is a comic book movie.

But when he ...loses his clothes in this movie he literaly lets them drop off...for instance when he is flying off to find Lois after the Coordinates are revealed....

Does Clark have a wallet? Does he have like millions of Wallets... better not have any credit cards...

Does anyone eer find the clthes hangin out oon the ground or do they ever fall on a persons head ...

If they fell on somone and they had Clraks wallet and personels in them.... well now wouldn't that be a major clue.

Has he ever pulled out a wallet in any of the movies?

People do find out. He just kisses them and makes them forget.

let this be the end of the thread...

im sure he leaves his stuff somewhere NO ONE WILL FIND IT ecsp for a a few min

its a movie, your not suppose to think about stuff like that, its superman, stuff like where his clothes go doesnt have to be explained.

Its just kinda weird like in the OG when he uses the phone booth and goes all wirling dirvish and his clothes just evaporate into the suit

But in this one when he takes flight he just lets them drop ...

It was mentioned in some of the pre crisis issues that superman is hiding his clothes in the cape, but I don't think this is mentioned anymore.
And this is a problem for all the superheroes,so I think u can just ignore it.

He keeps it in his crotch... Clearly he doesn't keep much in his wallet, though. :o

He probably keeps his money in his boots. He doesn't want kids from third world countries stealing his money

He probably hides his clothes. But in the elevator scene I doubt anyone is going to randomly look through the elevator shaft and stumble upon Clark's stuff. As for the wallet thing, I think Clark carries around a lot of cash on him.

Hahaha that's so unPC I like it! lol.

I think someone's actually found his clothes in the Planets janitor closet before, and I've heard about the cape pouch - which seems stupid since his cape doesn't look to stuffed to me.
Mebbe he crams 'em in his belt buckle ala the Flash's costume ring.

Superman I can understand, he can always go back and retrive his clothes on top of an Elevator because, well, he's Superman and can fly and see through stuff to find them later. However, I was scratching my head pretty hard in Spider-man 2 during the Pizza Delivery scene when (without his web back pack he sports in the comics to carry his clothes) he pops up after wearing nothing but his Spidey costume out of a Closet in full clothes. Now that was a hell of alot more of suspension of belief required.

Good point. I've really been disappointed with no webbing backpacks in the Spider-Flicks.

Though if you wanna really start thinking about Supes in a realistic manner consider how gross his flesh would look - he'd have no colour whatsoever since he'd never be able to tan...he'd be completely fish-belly, pasty white.
And 90% of dust is dead skin cells shed by humans which eventually decompose or get eaten by micro-organisms. His would just pile up and pile up.

that was the easter egg, nobody caught:

the symbiote suit :spidey:

;)

Well, the book said that he flatten his suit into this paper thin line by some form of superness, and stuck it in his cape pocket. I wish I could find the quote in the book but I remember it because I was like WTF.

I would say that for movie purposes and this movie in particular (because who knows where Reeve's clothes went). I think Clark only rips them off when he's not to concerned about getting them back, like only in an extreme emergency.

I would assume he changes in the janitor's closet because he has a change of clothes there, and that's where he put them when he's in the suit.

Just a thought...

edit:

The one reality aspect I've always wondered about is who PAYS for all the damage he causes. I mean, is it like the city covers this stuff under the emergency fund. Do the feds fund it???? Is FEMA much more responsive than they are normally are?

in 'reality' superman would be keeping his wallet in his costume, not in his exterior clothing. Why? Could you imagine flying around the world, then having to do something that requires money, like infiltrate a movie theatre, or find a new set of clothes. There are countless reasons why Superman might need some cold hard $$$. So, in reality, it would be safe to say that Supes carries his gear in his costume.

I mean, it would be annoying to fly all the way around the world, only to find that you need your press pass, or you dollars or credit cards, and have to fly all the way home, and back again to grab you stuff.

As for what happens to his clothes, he probably goes to the DP lost and found every week, and picks up his stuff. Janitors who find the clothes probably just assume he's a stud, who's getting mad action at work.
