Recording TV from computer help...

So, yeah. How would I record something on my TV from my computer? Or is recording it on my TV, then transferring to my computer the only way to go about that?

Man how times have changed, when I was kid in the 80's I knew more about the latest techno gizmos than my parents such as working the VCR, programming it to record favorite shows, tape to tape transfer and have it to stop blinking 12:00 all the time.

Nowadays I feel like an old fart that I wouldn't know jack about DVD/CD burning or recording from the TV to the computer.

Howzabout you connect a VCR to the computer? :P
