just got the game and i love it so far.

single player has been awesome and i'll probably try out multiplayer later on. i just started the game, but where is theives landing? i want to buy new outfits.

You cant buy new outfits. You can sometimes buy "scraps" of an outfit. A scrap is a challenge you have to complete before you can unlock an outfit. For instance one of the "scraps" for the Deadly Assassin Outfit is "Search Coots Chapel" so you have to go to Coots Chapel and find a treasure box in order to get that scrap.

Yeah, I think we all felt the same thing, the moment you crossed into mexico... It's like that point in the game, you've adjusted to the controls and everything, have a feel for the world you live in, and you feel like your characters journey has just begun.

Seriously, the moment I first walked into that Mexican town, I was like, hunched forward, so into the game... The game has suddenly just rocketed forward in my mind, it's gone from being a cool, fun game, to just being something that satisfies so many subconcious fantasies! It's like, wearing my poncho, with my white stallion (named Blondie) and hanging around with the very Deadwood's Wild Bill Hickock-like Landon Ricketts (which is a good thing), all my spaghetti western fantasies have come true!

It suddenly catapaulted from being an awesome game, into a whole new world I can dip in and out of to live out fantasies... This is what games were made for!

Yea im with you man. Redemption is one of those games thats comes around once every console generation. There is so much life in each and every character, its unreal. The voice acting may very well be the best you'll ever hear in a game. Damn near every line is delivered flawlessly.

Played this at a friend's house yesterday. Incredible, can't wait to own my own copy. Taking turns, my friend and I played it for a few hours, and one sequence in particular took us both by surprise. The first time you cross over to Mexico, this great acoustic guitar song starts to play. Can't wait to play that part again.

my gf was sleeping last night and i sneakingly played this game for 6 hours lol and went to bed at 6 AM...haha

ive only played the single player and ive only done 5 or 6 general missions...Just finished helping the Marshall at Armadillo for the second time...I got sidetracked helping out strangers, hunting animals, and my favorite and most exhilarating hunting down wanted bounties.

A couple of quick questions...

Whats the best way to locate the areas on treasure maps? I dont know where New Austen is on the map!!

Also, someone mentioned outfits...I have some gangs outfit (i think gangtooth?) but how do get some other clothing...especially that bandana to cover my face. I want to do some bad deeds

I cant wait to play multiplayer, but i want to do some more single player missions to get the hang of the gun release.

Also if i track a wild mustang and tame it...how do i get rid of my old horse? when i whistle he comes running after me and the new one.

Btw, an funny thing happened to me...After I tamed the new horse,i got off of it to see if it would run away. Then some stranger runs up asking for help (the stranger was some hooker in a brolesque outfit in the wilderness) The ***** stole my new horse. I tracked her down and shot her in the head 5 times in front of the whole town, I also shot the new horse...so I killed it and skinned it for some cash LOL

Things like that make this game so fun

New Austin is the whole of the area you're in....towns like Armadillo and Hennings Stead are places within New Austin

you can buy the bandana at the general store

and Im sorry you have to sneak around to play video games

I dont know about the cinematics, but mo cap was heavily used for the horses and the animations of mounting and dismounting the horses.

it did come with a 20 dollar giftcard for preordering so it still works out if you plan to buy another game in the future. I never preorder unless theres some deal that it comes with.

For the most part i can agree that 60 bux is a bit steep for a game, but with this title, the 60 bux is well worth it. Well worth it.

I don't get it either, man. I was picking herbs, doing the survivalist challenges and some guy like level 25 or something kills me. And he spawn camped and killed me five or six more times until I had to switch to another lobby. It's the same way in every game like this. People are just jerks I guess.
