I was told at gamestop, when pre-ordering it, that it is a Special Edition that's pretty much a true limited edition to gamestop. You don't pay extra, sorta like a first come first serve, which people who pre-ordered from gamestop will get.

It's the one that will bring the Soundtrack...which alone is awesome.

How many towns are in this game? Is it going to be like San Andreas? 1-3 bigger towns with several smaller ones populated arund the map? Does anyone know how big the game world is supposed to be?

oh wow thanks. Will there be fast travel? With no cars, I can imagine it taking very long to get across that thing by horse and Ive always found using the railroads in the GTA games to be slow and boring.

Not sure if my Gamestop will be having a midnight release, I'll ask them tomorrow. Probably won't go regardless though and will just wait till Tuesday morning to grab it because I'd be too tempted to stay up and play the game all night.

Yeah, there'll be fast travel. You can do this by stagecoach I've read.

Gamestop almost always does midnight releases for big titles. This is no exception

finished off my pre-order today, gonna be doing the midnight release. I think a few of my friends are also doing it and we're going to hop right into multi-player. I wanna do that because I want to ditch the burro everyone starts out with in mp.

Copies of Red Dead Redemption that recently shipped to retailers confirm PlayStation 3 versions in North America will include extra content.

PS3 owners will be getting access to "Solomon's Folly Gang Hideout" and the "Walton Gang Outfit," according to photos posted on IGN's forums by user Old_BenKenobi. Rockstar has not officially announced this content, so we can't say for sure what it all includes exactly.

Red Dead Redemption is set for release in North America this coming Tuesday, May 18, for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Yea thats true. I dont have any problems with the PSN really, i just have more friends on Live. All of my personal friends are on Live which is why i tend to get mp games for that system.

Im kinda bummed my GS isnt doing a midnight launch. Considering i dont have anything to to do until i start work, i could of easily sunk 3 or 4 hours into this tuesday am.

Wow, this is your first post? Do you even own a PS3? Do you realize that Home is NOT a necesity or apart of any multiplayer gaming on the PS3? Are you even aware of exactly what Home is and how the PSN operates? I suggest you go look it up before making comments which have little factual basis.
