i'm about 25% done with the game.

it's been awesome so far.

i've recently been playing two saved slots; one in which i progress through the game normally, and another in which i mess around trying to get my bounty higher by killing EVERYONE i see. so far i'm at $1,500.

also, i've grown attached to my horse and i hope i never lose it. it's a completely golden colored stallion with goldish hair. looks awesome with my gold guns. t:

Wow. The sharpshooter Rank 10 is going to be a b***h to get. You have to disarm 6 different ppl without reloading or changing weapons.

If anyone has done it, have any tips for how you completed it?

I have been trying to get the Master Hunter(i think thats what it is)rank 5 for the past 2 hours...can't find any cougars anywhere...and if I do the bastard kills me before I know it.

With the sharpshooter rank I would go to a gang hideout,and get six bandits in my sight,and dead eye all of their hands

Finally ordered RDR from Amazon last week. Amazon had the game discounted to $49.99, and I got a $10 promotion discount on top of that before I finalized the Checkout. With no sales tax and free shipping, I only have to pay $39.99, whereas in a retail store like Gamestop I would've paid about $65 plus tax. The game won't be shipped until after Wednesday, though, but I'm happy.

There's this cabin up in the snowy part of Tall Trees and you'll find a bunch of cougers around there.

Thanks! I'm really looking forward to this game after reading all those glowing reviews from this forum and other places I frequent. I don't play many games based on Western, but I love Rockstar's GTA and the sandbox genre, so I'm sure I'll love this game as well.

Does a disarm count if you kill the guy, or do you ONLY have to hit the enemies weapon?

I don't remember choosing a difficulty at the start. Maybe you get the choose after your first play through.

haha, herding is ridiculously dumb.

haven't encountered them since the bonnie missions.

no you really dont get to choose a level i think...i never saw that...I think targeting mode makes the situations what it is...you can die much quicker in expert targeting if your not fast and skilled enough.

For multiplayer, it really sucks that rockstar allowed the casual aim...idiots spawn kill or shoot from 200 yards and kill me
