I unlocked the Legend of the West outfit. Those legendary beasts were pushovers.

Knifing a bear was a pain, they kept running away from me.

Thats what I thought Geo, but wait until you hunt them in multiplayer... I **** you not, I was hiding in the cabin at Tanners Reach with about 25 cougars all running around, bumping into each other, right out the front door. It gets pretty intense.

Is there anything else to do online other than doing shootouts and kill gangs?

Was i the only one who found the game's ending quite anti-climatic? Or did i miss something out?

Did John let himself get killed so they would stop hunting his family? Did he really think he could take all those agents out withouth any cover? I just felt the kill was incredibly forced, even tho it was foreshadowed, but John comes off as very naive for believing they would be left alone, and then he lets himself die?

And yeah the very end part of the game becomes a revenge story, not something i was very into personally. The only character i felt attached tho was Irish, and his final fate was hilarious. :D

A Q&A on the Rockstar Newswire has teased that we'll be seeing more Red Dead Redemption DLC in the near future, as well as more info on the Outlaws to the End pack.

The answer to a question regarding DLC notes that "there will definitely be more DLC packs to follow, later this summer and into the fall."

"Some exciting things are planned," teases the answer.

We're also told that we'll soon be seeing screens that will unveil one of the other missions in the Outlaws to the End co-op pack, due out sometime in June.

wait what was Irish's fate? last i remember he ran off in mexico...Yeah John is naive...i mean i think he could have taken those guys on...lol look at the game, he took over armies of bad guys. I guess he didnt want to hurt his family... i think his son being involved could open up another game and bring back Irish :D

just free roam doing challenges and making posses...which is more fun then shootouts and bag matches...However once you unlock the harcore levels it isnt as easy for others to kill you.

I do think the online will get better with the new co-op stuff

Isnt the posse stuff, challenges and shootouts co-op? What will this upcoming Co op DLC add?

He accidently shoots himself dead in an outhouse in Thieves Landing. :D

Im just not good at poker, even though they show you how to do it in the game, I cant grasp it...However I keep winning in liar's dice.

Hehe, that's funny. I suck hard at Liar's Dice and yet I am the best at Poker.

I consistently win at both of those. But almost always lose in blackjack.
MAN I want them to put those mini games in multiplayer.

I'd love nothing more than to sit at a poker table with 5 buddies all betting their actual in game money, and clean them out :)

Once you figure out Liar's Dice, I found it to be incredibly easy.

Poker is ********. I absolutely hate it. It's almost impossible to get a good hand. You have Ace-King? The flop is gonna have an 8, a 2 and a 3. **** that ****. You almost are forced to bluff and just pray the other guy doesn't have an actual hand.

Watch out that they don't shoot you afterwards. :cwink:

Do you use the cheater's suit? Poker is so easy when you cheat imo. As for Liar's Dice, what's the key of winning? I can't seemed to get a handle on it.

Don't try to bluff.:yay:

I just beat the game and wow what an ending. I have a question though
Why was the army out to kill John and his family? I dont get why they came back

Overall great game but I didnt like the pacing of the missions towards the end. They were all like the early tutorial missions right before the big finale. The middle missions felt more challenging and creative and the last bit felt like filler. Personally the game could have ended when [blackout]Dutch died[/blackout]. Probably would have been best bc that was the climax of the story. Everything after felt a bit unnecesary. It kinda felt like a DLC type epilogue if that makes any sense

I liked the last few missions. It humanized Marston again, which was much needed based on everything that preceded them.

Have you seen the credits?

What I hate and love about these games is how much you get into the characters.

Like I want to see more of Bonnie and see her interact with Jack. See what crazy ass Seth is up to now that he finally found his treasure. Etc etc.

I just did. I thought the game actually ended when [blackout]John died with the rest being free roam[/blackout]. I still think the last part was unnecesary. I dont think John needed to be "humanized". I never had an issue with his characterization. He was pretty human already if you were playing him as a good character, which I had throughout the game. All it did was establish the relationship between his family, but that could have been put in the beginning of the game as a small tutorial act bc thats what it felt like.

Well, I played him as a good guy as well and I still felt like over the course of the game he became less and less believable as a character. That's just me though.

And I know why. The Mexico missions. You were forced to play both sides. So depending on how you played the game in one mission you were mowing down federales. In the next mission you were mowing down rebels. I really didn't like that part of the game for that. It would've been better if you just chose what side you wanted to be on and move on from there.

Totally agree. That might have made Mexico feel a little less like filler missions.

yeah I was confused about that and found it a bit too morally ambigious about which side was supposed to be the "good" one
