I'm not really feeling the multiplayer to be honest with you guys. You really have to play with a group of friends because if you jump on by yourself you're just gonna get shot up instantly once you spawn.

I've invited you like three times, only to be ignored.

Bounties only get posted between 9am and 7pm. If you wait around where they normally get put up between these hours, you should actually see the sherrif walk over, pull out the bounty poster and hammer it in. It's pretty cool. Also, in mexico, you can get bounties in el presidio. I think it's 8 locations in west austin, 8 in mexico and 4 in new elizabeth.

7 A.M., usually 7:05 for me, is when the bounties go up. Just stand your character next to the sheriff's office and then the lazy bum will hang it up.

Yeah that was a bit of a chore, but I love the game so much I had no problem doing all that work, or all the ranking up in MP. I platinumed it a couple nights ago and am replaying the story now t:. If you did the stranger mission called Jenny's Faith, it's funny 'cause she was in the intro movie. So were a bunch of other name drops I missed or forgot about during the beginning.

How long did it take you to do all the multiplayer stuff? I just finished all the sp trophies and got 100% and it took me 82 hours

john is gunned down, and you play as jack tracking down ross, how many of you killed ross' wife and brother?

i figured it'd gain you fame or a trophy or something at least besides losing honor. plus it just seemed like the right thing to do.

and also,

when john walks out of the barn and automatically goes into deadeye mode, i 'marked' that f'er ross' face at least 4 times before moving on to the other marshalls, and he still survived... what a gyp (sp?)

still an awesome game though... finished with 88.something% complete.

i wanted to so bad, but i thought i was going to screw something up with the plot...So i just waited for you know who and shot him in the head, balls, chest, and face a few more

I also agree I dont have time to play legendary status 4 times straight through racking exp points essentially that becomes annoying...But i like doing stuff on free roam...like knifing bears and boars and becoming a public enemy. Right now im level 41...i might do the legendary or just play as level 50

Still haven't beaten the game, so I'm avoiding you guys' spoilers still. I think I'm close to the end tho. Currently I'm at the part where

, and I'm really liking it. Such a nice change in pace, and done in a pretty realistic feeling fasion all things considered. Tho I have this tiny feeling everytime I start a mission that it won't last long and everythings going to go to **** at anytime.

I didn't realize when I posted the above I only had one mission left lol. I just beat the game, it's an ending that fits, but I do feel mixed, no doubt about it.

It's not like the hero dying hasn't been done plenty of times in westerns. I think the ending works fine. It's just the follow up I don't like. Jack...is annoying, atleast a bit. Enough that I'm glad I saved before the final mission so I can just go back to that, and complete everything as Jonn. Plus, when you're given control of Jack it's at a time where the character can, and does go nowhere. He might as well be a random NPC.

At the same time tho, I get why they did it. John dying makes the ending more powerful. However they can't leave it with the government goon getting away with it. IMO, I think the better ending would have been to allow you to have killed the 2 government stooges in that last shoot out, and let all of the normal soldiers finish you off after. Then have a short clip of John visiting his parents graves and just end the game there. Then it can allow you to continue before the last mission with everything you got right before your death.

Then again, I have a feeling Jack is going to be the main character for the sequel. So maybe I'll feel better about the conclusion to this game in 2-3 years when I'm playing RDR 2 and have come to like Jack's character more.

Overall tho, this was a great game. I'm not sure I can personally give it my GOTY, but it is defintely a top contender. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't take overall GOTY in a lot of places. The atmosphere, characters and random npcs, animals, gameplay mechanics, story, side games and quests, everything was just top notch. Any negative thoughts I had when I heard Rockstar saying they wanted this to be a new GTA are gone. I'm not sure how they'll do sequels that do things differently or better than this game as RDR seems pretty definitive, but R* has me hooked and sold. I loved it.

Now to start a new game, well probably tomorrow, I am getting tired lol. Of course this time I'll be an outlaw and try to complete everything.

Heh, now I get why you guys think that, you're misreading what I wrote.

I said that I understood why they did what they did, because they couldn't let the government goons get away with killing John and leave the game at that. That I understand why after killing John off, why they let Jack take over.

However if I had my way with the ending I would have let John himself take both of the main government goons down himself before dying. I didn't type that they did get away with it.
