Well...Heres the situation...Me and my older bro are getting bored because we've officially worn out our playstation 2...so we wanna update...we've always wanted an xbox 360...so we've decided to get it...we dont know anything about MB and stuff...we're low on cash but feel we mite have enough to split the xbox 360 now...so we went to blockbuster and its $350...whats the difference between the xbox 360 arcade and the regular xbox 360...and is a refurbished xbox 360 trustworthy http://www.refurbdepot.com/productd...ogleProducts&gclid=CLqcpsKC5JMCFQNfFQodzAvJVQ

The 360 arcade comes with a wireless controller & 5 X-Box live games. The regular 360 comes with a wired controller, the usual wires & no games.

As for whether a refurbished 360 is worth it. Depends on where you're getting it from. I'm looking at Gamestop and they have one for $199.99 (w/ wired controller) & another for $219.99 (w/ wireless controller).

If I wanna play Call Of Duty 4 on XBOX live...Can I do this with The arcade version?
I read on some forum that it doesnt have enough memory to upload new maps and stuff

Got the Refurbished XBOX 360 at Game Stop today with the wireless controller....
Bought a refurbished Hard Drive for 50 bucks...A Used Wireless controller for 29.99...Then Rainbow Six Vegas 2...Sooooo Happy with it...Now to work on getting XBOX Live....Can someone tell me the cheapest way to get my XBOX hooked up to my Cable internet modem

Just unhook your modem from your PC & connect it to your 360 using the Ethernet cable. Very cheap. In the future if you get tired of having to switch your modem from your PC to 360 and back. Do this.

If you got 8 bucks left. Head back to Gamestop and purchase a XBox live 1 month gold card. When your month runs out on that card. You can head back and put another 8 bucks down on it & it's instantly renewed for another month. If you have a headset for your PS2. You can use that on your 360. I do.

so heres the deal....the refurbished xbox and hard drive work perfect...wanted xbox live...so instead of paying for the wireless router thing for $100...i went to staples and got an ethernet cat 5 wire (50 feet long...thats what she said) it was only $35...grabbed the $50 12 month gold card...and now im playing rainbow six vegas 2 with other strangers around the world ....my xbox live id is CalebYourMaster

also, try downloading some demos like bourne conspiracy and iron man to see games before you waste your money on them

my first game that i got was rainbow six vegas 2(a couple friends of mine play it and recommended it) everyone says to get COD4 so im gonna eventually break down and get it...but i feel poor after all the money ive put into it lol....
