Remembering 911

I'm saying he (or anyone else) doesn't need to have that kind of personal tragedy occur to be strongly affected by 911.

i feel bad that something horrible happened to them but unless we lost someone in there we can never truly mourn it.

You consider your indifference to Americans getting murdered on US soil and people trying to keep their memory alive...normal??

Boy, you're tied to the tracks and that train just keeps runnin' over ya, doesn't it, just runnin' over ya.

I'm not indifferent to people trying to keep their memory alive. But, shouldn't that be a, I dunno, personal thing? I thought so. What I am opposed to is the senseless propaganda tool that 9/11 has become.

true dat but we gotta keep fighting bacause this could happen again.

Oh yeah, I understand and agree with that. But lets not bull**** ourselves and talk about winning the war on terrorism. Its just not going to happen.

Are you and papakeelo going to gang up on everyone who has a different viewpoint that you? Or what?

I wouldn't consider this "ganging up." But rather expressing my own opinion, as well as disagreeing with yours. :down

I guess we're entitled to our own opinions, then, huh? Now matter how stupid they be.

Then this whole thing was pointless, wasn't it? Wow. Don't you feel kinda bad that this is what was needed for you to come to that conclusion?

im just saying that im not crying myself to sleep over this when there are people that do and are more justified in doing so.

You talk as if mourning is some type of welfare reserved only for those who lost loved ones in this tragedy. And you're some hero for not taking it from them.

Everyone is affected by **** differently. It's entirely unfair to say that the general people should not mourn over this because they didn't lose someone. Let people feel how ever they feel.

Where are you getting your comebacks from? They're classic...I love 'em.

Senseless propaganda...you sure do love those word don't you? I guess a day to remember a fellow American losing their lives to, what I feel is, a senseless act of violence is too much old fashioned BS for you. Your anti-propaganda mindset jades you to the point of indifference...that's pitiful in my eyes.

Hey, you do realize that Memphis started this thread as a remembrance thread, don't you? You come here stating your lack of concern and expect to be welcomed? Great logic.

Marvel in my wit, biotch! :woot:

You're proving my point. It's pitiful because my viewpoint disagrees with yours. WHY are you so adamant? Why can't you let me have my opinion on that matter without thinking its a juvenile viewpoint? Why?

Get real, man. It's Memphis. :whatever:

And its called free will.

what are you doing to commemorate 911?

You DON'T have an opinion on the matter...that's what it really boils down to. You have stated that you do not care...how is that having an opinion? You sit there all safe in front of your computer and can say, "I've moved on from 9/11...it was 6 years ago and it had nothing to do with me"...great sense of belonging. But hey, have your 'opinion'...as unattached as it may be.

Regardless of whether it was he who posted this remembrance thread...the direction it is going now has nothing to do with remembrance.

and its called using common sense to know when to keep crap opinions to yourself.

He can voice his opinion, just like you can voice yours. It's called "freedom of speech"

Don't play this "freedom of speech" card ****. It's true, we can all say whatever the hell we want. That's why we're saying it. Null and Void.

You don't like what he said. Blah Blah Blah. Move the **** on

It's called a discussion. But then again, none of us are on a message board to discuss.
