Found this not so long ago on 2d/3d conceptual illustrator Ben Procter's official site. He did designs for the return to Krypton sequence, Fortress of Sollitude and the baby ship. Theres also some cool short 3d clips of the sequence and much more awesome designs on the site!!!

Well even i though i think was a great mistake to cut the scene i can see how it could fit into the sequel.Maybe this is one of things they're saving cash on.
