Do you guys think Rick Jones should be involved in this movie and that he should be dared to go on the testing zone and he should befriend the Hulk? I think they should?

Since this is unfortunately a sequel, and not a reboot, there's more than likely no chance of seeing Rick Jones, as those dreadful events in Ang Lee's Hulk will be acknowledged.

I believe I read that they were going to use parts from the movie and parts from the TV show.....so they may be able to throw him in in some way.

Please find me a qoute, article, something that factually states this is a sequel. If not, gives a break with this crap.

there was not Rick Jones in the TV-Show.
"Respect for the first movie" means like "aknowledge" of it, maybe not a direct sequel...but surely NOT a reboot

It's not crap.

Go to the HULK section on the SHH front page. There's articles by the writer and Avi Arad himself that say it's a sequel. Trust me, i wish it wasn't so but the events of Angs Hulk will be in the same continuity.

I would love to see Rick Jones meet Jack McGee.

When the director was asked if this was a sequel, this is what he said:

Q: Is this a sequel or not? There has been alot of confusion over this. Sometimes yes, and other times no.

It's a hard question to answer. You have to be the judge of that when you see the film.

If you don't believe me, here's the link where you can find it:

They could introduce Rick in a different fashion to the books...personally i think it's a good idea for Hulk to have a human friend,it makes it easier for the audience to connect with him

I would love Rick to be in this in the first place too, but we can thank Ang and co for that.

I know.....but it doesn't mean that they can't introduce Rick in someway different than the original comic.

Hell yeah, Rick would be awesome

Exactly, they can bring him in a different way and he would be a great way into the movie for the audience as his scenes with Hulk would give the movie heart and humour if done well IMO

Yeah, he could be the guy who tags along with Bruce, kinda like a side-kick. Also agree that a character like him could bring on some laughs

They brought Gwen Stacy into Spidey movies different than the original comics....they can do it with Rick.

Have Bruce save him or him save Bruce in some way and then they befriend each other.

They should re-create the CB origin in a quick flash back.

Yes they should. The next movie could show the ORIGINAL ORIGIN when explaining Jones' character.

He could, but let's hope they're good laughs, funny, and not misplaced. Otherwise he's just an annoyance.

Thing is, they really ****ed up Gwen in the movie. She was such a major character, turned into such a minor one. Let's hope if they do introduce Rick they don't make the same mistake twice.

they will not touch the origin...

Let's hope that they do, and that Rick plays a part, but a realistic part, not the silly claptrap of May 1962.

I really hope they bring Rick Jones in because I do with they do the original orgin and have Bruce save Rick then it shows that Bruce is a hero like character! Who would play Rick Jones? and how old would you have him be? What about Shia Labouff?
