Ricky Gervais' 'EXTRAS' American version

I wonder, with the success of the American version of The Office (both critical and ratings wise) do you think there will be an attempt to Americanize his current show Extras?

I personally think it is a great idea. The American Hollywood subculture is such a unique thing it could be satired in a brilliant way by an American version of this show. If they got the same people who brought The Office to the US, it could be absolutely brilliant.

Doesnt the British one already have a bunch of American actors anyway? At the very least they're all Hollywood actors.

And its on HBO right now, as opposed to Office which never appeared on American TV outside of BBC America. Plus it's still on.
