Here's a role that will be overlooked, Coconut Pete!! People are split on broken lizard' in general, but i personally loved Club Dread. Paxton's over the top performance is absolutely hilarious and makes the film.
I have that on DVD. I'll need to watch it again soon it has been so long.

Sad about Bill Paxton. The next 10 years is going to be rough in terms of actors who I grew up with passing away. :(

I haven't seen him in GoT.....but just a few days ago saw him in a DOCTOR WHO episode where he played an alien....on the extras it had Peter Capaldi talking about how big of a GoT fan he was and how excited he was to have him on the show.

RIP to Mr. Fingleton

Don't know what to say about Paxton passing.....been a fan of his for decades.....will miss his outlandish performances.

Yeah by a lot of these celebrity deaths from this year and last year have been relatively young. That's what's even more sad.

R.I.P Bill Paxton. My fondest memories of him are from Terminator 1, True Lies, Alien 2 and Predator 2

the USA today article was pretty cool. Twister is one of my guilty pleasure movies. I'll always watch it when it's on.

My favorite movie of his is the very obscure The Dark Backward.

RIP, Bill.

Is that the one with a dude who has an arm growing out his back? Didn't realize he was in that.

My parents loved Twister, and would quote it from time to time. Was hard to tell them about Bill Paxton's death. My thoughts, and prayers are with his family, 61 is too early to go.

As for me, grew up on Weird Science, Aliens, Terminator, ect. So he was a part of my childhood as well. Then went on to like Twister as well, and his voice acting added a lot of character, and emotion to Red Dead Redemption. So will miss him as well as he was a part of my childhood.

Really sad about Bill Paxton. He was one of those actors who wasn't known for being the lead character (for the most part, that is), but he STOLE every scene he was in. The dude had so much charisma. And, from the looks of it, he was one of the most likable people in Hollywood.

He was one of my favorites. R.I.P.

That's sad, but definitely not unheard of, considering his height. Really tall people run the risk of heart failure at an early age.

But still ... R.I.P. 36 is far too young. :csad:

Yes, that's the movie. Totally surreal, and very funny. Bill Paxton is a total wacko in it, too.

What's morbid about Bill Paxton's passing was the day before he died I was watching some of the Agents Of SHIELD season 1 finale on some local channel. I came across the ending where his character came back from the dead with robotic limbs/suit being attached to him just before Coulson vaporizes him for good. So finding out the next day that Paxton passed away in real life was very morbid.

I still can't believe Paxton's gone. He's been in many films that I've seen him in i.e. most of James Cameron's movies, Near Dark, Trespass, Tombstone, Twister, A Simple Plan, 2 Guns, Edge Of Tomorrow and the list goes on. His performances have always been stellar and believable, imo. Hollywood has lost another talented and underrated actor. Paxton also seemed so kind and genuine in interviews. He'll be missed. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

RIP Bill Paxton.
