Sad to hear. She guest starred an a lot of shows that were popular when I was a kid. To me one of her most memorable roles was as a voice actor in the great Don Knotts movie THE INCREDIBLE MISTER LIMPET. It was half live action half animated. She had a distinctive voice.

Not to sound insensitive and of course William Anders' passing is incredibly sad, however, what I want to know is, is it common for elderly people who may have experience in their formative years to pilot planes?

I would think so yes. Most astronauts begin as pilots or even test pilots. Risk takers. It can be hard to give that up even when they age.

Jerry West was indeed a legend. As a Laker fan, I saw him as a youngster all the time.

and the only person ever to be named NBA Finals MVP on a team that lost. He averaged almost 40 points per game.

Even as a young Dodger fan who had no love for the Giants, this is a loss. I didn't really see the early part of his career, but even as a very young fan in the bleachers at Dodger Stadium, it wasn't hard to figure out that this guy was the best all around player to ever grace the game.

RIP my brother. You are missed and remembered.
