Highly original, exemplary, no one has done these types of shots before.... ever. The best part is at the end where they introduce the new actor (the director's son)... incredibly manly, slick, good hero material.. LOVE STORY 2050

I gotta say, I'm impressed. Those special effects shots are nothing like I've seen in bollywood movies. While the story as a whole will probably be corny (that last show of the main hero is corny too) the special effects looks pretty original for bollywood. Just as long as there aren't long songs in the middle of the movie, it should be interesting. Are there any bollywood movies that doesn't have a song and dance number? lol

hehehe i wish I knew of some... there are actually some absolutely amazing hindi films that don't have songs which are sort of bollywood/art house but they don't get released abroad cuz indian audiences abroad love songs

honestly my message in the first post was a bit of a piss take, i mean obviously the sfx are ripped from I Robot and Bicentennial Man but they actually look pretty damn good for a bollywood film

yeah it looks good for a bollywood movie but compared to a hollywood movie? No way. Plus, I doubt we'll have flying cars by 2050. That's just silly.

Pretty good special effects but I'm not sure I agree with some of your statements. Highly original and original shots? Not really.

'Bollywood' sucks!!! However, like you said, there are some movies from India (mainly South India) that are good but are never shown abroad due to the Asian communities in Europe and US get big hard-ons over song and dance (which suck). And don't get me started on their crappy music videos!

umm, I think overall, all movies from India suck be it from the north or south. But yeah, the US does get hard-ons for the song an dance numbers. lol

It appears no-one in India has heard of the word 'subtle'. Everything in 'Bollywood' films has to be over the top or melodramatic or both. That and the rip-offs which should be a crime.

I like the look of the film. CGI looks nice, but not great, but nice. Doesn't look like a cheap movie at all.

LOL so true.

yes there is one man you has thought outside the box...His name is Aamir Khan and he made a film called Taare Zameen Par (stars on earth)...amazing movie, it has music but no one is singing it, it is flowing along in a sequence of important scenes.

It will most likely be nominated for best oscar for foreign film...it was amazing

btw its about time indians here made sci fi films...its also because of the rising economy there and rich indians all over the place all of a sudden

this movie looks corny, but it could be good if it takes itself seriously

That is because most of the vfx for this movie has been provided by WETA. Now they don't have a 100 million budget so i am impressed by some one the stuff in it. I think in US dollars this movie is budgeted at 15 million.
