Rise of the Tomb Raider

No I mean, the PS4 is better. The games run better.

Does it have more games? Well, I prefer the PS4 exclusives anyway.
What exclusives? The horrible Order or the ones that are never coming out? :csad:

The Wii U is crushing both in terms of quality games.

Lol no, Xbox One so far has the best games since it was announced. Much more diverse than PS4's catalog, exclusive or not. It has three biggies coming out this year while the PS4 has Until Dawn, I think.

As for Rise Of The Tomb Raider coming to the PS4, it probably won't since it's being published by Microsoft, even the temporary ones never found their ways to Sony's console, so don't get your hopes up.

I don't follow.

Even if you prefer Xbox's exclusives, I don't see at all how it has greater variety.

The PS4 has games running the gamut from Killzone to No Man's Sky to Bloodborne to JRPGs like Tales, and Star Ocean, to bunch of PS3 ports (God of War, the Last of Us), and some remasters going back even further (Type-0, Legend of Kay, etc).

Not to mention a billion indie games. I don't care for them, but I'm told a lot of people like Axiom Verge, Titan Souls, and Hotline Miami.

Wasn't talking about the Wii U. Strictly Xbox One vs PS4.

Come talk to me in 2016 when you have Zelda and Zelda.

It WILL come to the PS4. That's clear to me as the daylight. You're fooling yourself if you think it won't. If it wasn't, they would've clarified it from day 1 like Sony did with Street Fighter V.

It baffles me how some of you are still skeptical of the game coming to Sony's console. The real question is if it'll be the standard version or a complete version.

Old games and indie games doesn't really tell much, both consoles have those, with the PS4 overdoing with the unnecessary remasters. Xone list of released exclusives is wider, and there's this year's Halo 5, Tomb Raider and Forza which will do nothing but expand an already great list, those matter, not a bunch of silly indie games.

Then it's Gears Of War 4, Quantum Break, Scalebound and one unannounced IP for 2016.

After using both consoles, they're great, but it's undeniable how Xbox's list is better, so far.

No, I'm not. I'm using actual facts to reinforce my point. Seems like you haven't been following Xbox One's exclusives that much.

They never said that DR3 wouldn't come out to the PS4, it did for PC almost a year later, so your point is invalid as it gets. Same thing for Ryse.

You cite Tomb Raider, when PS4 is going to have Uncharted 4, and probably Tomb Raider? You got Halo. I'll give you that.

But come on, man. When it comes to variety, it's no contest. PS4 has way more diverse titles. Phil Spencer himself has said he wants to make the Xbox One less of a dudebro console. Well, he didn't actually say dudebro, but the sentiment was there.

It's a laudable effort, but it will take a while.

You people and your ''facts''. The only fact here is your uncertainty of the game coming to the PS4, otherwise you'd have used the word certainly, not probably, when pondering if the game would come out for the console. That alone shows your insecurity on the subject. So start again and give me actual proven facts...links, articles, quotes, whatever you can use to corroborate your point...instead of your opinion disguised as your conception of fact.

At the same time, if my point is as invalid as you want to believe it is, go ahead and prove to me that Street Fighter V will come to XBone and how it is related to DR3, which are two different cases.

That's why I said it will be added to an already great list of released exclusives, and it will be coming out this year, so there's that.

I'm sure Uncharted 4 will be great, no doubt, but so far it's the only AAA PS4 exclusive announced that's yet to come, and there's a long way until 2016 arrives.

What diverse titles are you talking about here? Indies? Both consoles have pretty much the same titles, JRPGs? I thought One was doing better on this area...? Correct me if I'm wrong.

So this has now become an xbox vs ps4 thread. Great.

What? Are you :loco: ? I gave you more than one, but you're being a dick so why should I even continue this if you can't keep your ******** feelings in check? Because that's the message you're sending.

Both are the same cases. First, why should I prove to you that SF5 will come out to the Xbox One, when I never said it would? You're being a hypocrite here. Conversation ended.

So this has now become an xbox vs ps4 thread. Great.

More like Tomb Raider's exclusivity and how it compares to other games that fall into the same type of deal.

Nobody, expect for one, is doing any harm. So, it's being enjoyable at last. And no, not which console is better, because there's a lot of stuff that help to form such notion.

Diverse titles would be Bloodborne, Killzone, Little Big Planet, Tearawy, Infamous, The Order, Ratchet and Clank, No Man's Sky, DriveClub, Until Dawn, and Street Fighter V. Lot of those aren't my cup of tea, but you can't say that's not a diverse line up.

Microsoft has tried to get some JRPGs, but it's still no contest. PS4 will have Tales of Zesteria, Star Ocean V, and Persona 5. There's also many lesser titles. Ask Zentih, he's more in the know. I guess Dragon Quest Heroes sort of counts. It's more of a spin-off (but an exclusive nonetheless).

But Microsoft did secure Final Fantasy XV, and Kingdom Hearts, which is pretty impressive.

Point taken

This has already been discussed quite a bit in here in the past, but nah, it's much more likely than you think. Don't be fooled by MS being the publisher of the game; it's already been stated that MS is only handling publishing duties for the game and doesn't have development investment in the title (unlike Ryse or, rumored, Dead Rising 3), and MS and SE's usage of language in regards to the exclusivity has been incredibly precise. Instead of being cited as exclusive, they've used phrases like "exclusive for now", "holiday exclusive", "Xbox first", and have actively avoided referring to it in permanent terms.

I mean, sure, it's possible that it will never leave the Xbox, but from what we know, it'd be pretty surprising if Rise didn't see a re-release on PC and PS4 with a GOTY edition or something similar in a year or something.

I thought I'd come here today and have a long answer fully grounded on topics to answer to, but you make it too easy. You're just looking for reasons to run from the conversation. Go ahead and be a quitter if you want, but I'm here to respond to you if you actually give me something sound, instead of name calling (:loco:, dick, ********), which is the behavior of someone without an argument. I didn't call you anything, so you're the only one acting like that. Here's the conversation we had so far:

You said that you gave me ''more than one''. You gave me nothing. Point exactly where in these posts you are proving anything or where is there any shred of fact that TR won't come to the PS4. But actually give me something this time. Just your words won't make up for a solid argument.
Both are the same cases.
Both are different cases and that's because Sony made it clear that it is not a timed exclusive. From the get-go. Even Phill Spencer acknowledged that. Microsoft didn't with TR.
See what I did with this reply? I explained my answer, instead of just spilling words. I can give you links too, if you prefer.

First, why should I prove to you that SF5 will come out to the Xbox One, when I never said it would?
Simple, because you said my point was invalid. SFV's exclusivity with Sony was part of my argument regarding TR. When you're adressing my ''point'', you're talking about all of it, unless you clarify which part of my point you're specifically talking about. You can prove its invalidity by pointing opposite ideas to the reasons I gave you.

Pretty much. That's why I said to not raise hopes up, since so far, there isn't a single timed exclusive who found the PS4's path, but then again, things could change, but I still think it won't.

My post is actually saying why getting hopes up is okay lol. But it's already been discussed in length about that probability in this thread already, so I'm not going to go into it all again, and I have a Xbone now, so the discussion isn't really that relevant to me personally anyway.

This is what you're always gonna get with him though. Not surprising seen him do it many times on these forums. Don't waste your time with him man. Just gonna go nowhere.

This is the beauty of owning all three systems. I don't have to worry about this stuff. :yay:

I was actually thinking of getting a WiiU darth

I own none of them. But I plan to pick one up at least before 2016.

By 2016, I'd say they'd all be worth whatever the going rate will be.

A Wii U for 200 circa 2016, isn't a bad deal. You'll have Mario, Zelda, Star Fox, Smash Bros, God willing a Metroid game. A few good exclusives like Xenobalde, Splatoon and Bayonetta, and a decent virtual console library.

I'm hoping Nintendo intends to do more than Zelda in 2016, but it's still a decent backlog. And I've bought consoles for the sole sake of playing a Zelda game.

But now I'm getting off topic.

I don't think Tomb Raider is a killer app. But if you're on the fence about buying an Xbone, it's a good incentive.

I was actually thinking of getting a WiiU darth
You should totally get one. For my money, the best of the three by a good amount. It already has a strong catalog, that will only be getting stronger. Its worth it now, and in the future.

Really think I'm going to eventually, been a while since I played anything Nintendo. My Wii randomly broke and stopped working many years ago.
