Rob Zombie's "Halloween 2" is a GO!

The fans got the chance to vote for or against that idea back when the remake wasn't even public knowledge. They voted no and smartly so. THat's a 10 second movie where Pinhead would rip Michael apart with the flick of a hand. That fight is seriously too one sided.

Zombie's true remake portion was very interesting intense and by that I mean the part with Scout Taylor Compton as Laurie. I thought she was very believable as Laurie. She was a much more realistic version of Laurie and had more of a character than Curtis's did in the original.(Curtis's Laurie didn't actually become a character until the sequels, until then she was just a cardboard final girl) I didn't like Zombie's ''prequel" part however. I thought it was uninteresting ran too long and the young Michael wasn't that great of an actor. McDowell however was good as Loomis in both parts and they did the smart thing by making Loomis as different as they could from Pleasance's version.

I'll be there for this movie day one irregardless of what it shapes up to be, but I'd hope they would do the following: Keep Mane as Michael. Keep Scout as Laurie. She deserves the return to the role. She's such a sweet and genuine girl and really wants to return to the role. Keep Danielle Harris as Annie, but don't let Annie overstay her welcome. Keep Brad Dourif as Sherrif Brackett, maybe even make him the ''Loomis" figure. Let's face it Loomis died in this universe, there's no way he can be alive, despite what the DVD/Blu-Ray would lead you to believe.

NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!
My thoughts exactly.

I would rather not have anyone associated with Rob Zombie making this movie. He has quirky characters and truthfully his remake destroyed the mystery that made Michael Myers so scary. You almost feel bad for him when he starts killing people. I liked the way the family was portrayed in John Carpenter's versions. His sister and mom and dad seemed normal in the blip they were in and it made you wonder what kind of true evil was in Michael Myers.

That's my opinion of the remake as well.

I hated Compton as Laurie Strode. She seemed way too sexual and "bimbo-ish" to play that part. Laurie is supposed to be this quiet, shy type and Compton was making sexual remarks to her family with bagels on her boobs(if you saw the movie, you'd know what I mean)? Huh?!
I hatede Rob Zombie's version when I saw it in theatres. I rented the unrated directors cut hoping I would like that better. I didn't. However, I did enjoy the making of featurettes. In them, Rob says that he couldn't write Laurie Strode the way she was in the original because in this day and age she wouldn't be believable unless she were Amish or something. I hated the movie, but I agree with him on that point. She had to be more outgoing or she wouldn't have been believable.

RZ's remake had Dr. Loomis dying in the end, and Laurie shooting Michael in the head at point blank range with a .357 Magnum. So unless they're going to F13 Part 6 Michael, I don't see how they're going to do the sequel. Unless maybe Laurie dons the mask and goes on a killing spree?

I can't believe people are talking bad about my boyfriend.
