Nope, as Invader Joker said, don't rely on those Dior ads as an indication of Bruce's hair or physique. They were filled a long time ago.
I like the playboy part being fundamentally an intentional act to dissuade suspicions that Bruce is Batman. I think it adds to the character and his dedication to his obsession. It also gives the actor more to do. (Bale always seemed to enjoy that part of the role a lot.)
When it comes to the real Bruce bleeding into the public persona, I prefer that happen as Bruce gets older. I don't think it makes sense with a young Bruce who is solely dedicated to his crusade. I think it makes sense for more of the real Bruce to bleed into the public persona as he gets older and realizes that he can help Gotham in a lot of other ways than Batman. I like the way it is portrayed in Dark Victory with Bruce deciding to take Dick in as the first step of Bruce moving away from absolute obsession and towards more balance. Taking in an orphan out of pure charity doesn't really fit with Bruce's typical airhead playboy billionaire act. Similarly, I like how Haunted Knight portrayed Bruce's philantrophy as another development of maturity and realization that he can can do lots of good as Bruce as well as Batman.
However, I think these are all elements that are best if they come later in Bruce's arc. They better fit a mature Bruce who is starting to find balance in his life rather than a young, obsessed Bruce at the start of his war on crime. I think it is best if they start with Bruce seeing Batman as his true self and only slowly realizing that Bruce Wayne is more than just a mask and has some value. Given that Ego is allegedly a big influence on this film, I suspect they will take a similar tack.
